Hey JAGMAC!! So excited to be chatting with you!! Now that it is officially fall!! How was your summer?
CJ: Thanks! Our summer was great – busy, but great!!! We had a lot of really fun performances, so fortunately we were able to stay super connected with our fans, or as we like to call them, “JAGMAC Fam.” The summer started out with an amazing trip to Miami where we filmed our music video for “Like A Band.” After that we had a trip to LA for the Ardy’s (Radio Disney Music Awards) where we had our first feature in two high fashion magazines, Bello Mag and Vulkan Magazine. We also performed at the famous Jones Beach in New York for a big summer festival music called KTUPHORIA. In addition, we performed in Washington DC with the UK’s famous boy band, New Hope Club. Some of the most exciting performances we had this summer were singing the National Anthem for our hometown baseball team, the Baltimore Orioles, as well as our performance for the MLB All-Star game in Cleveland!
You guys are gearing up to re-release “What’s Right With Me”!! Why was it important for you to re-release the song now?
CJ: For this Re Release of “What’s Right With Me” we had a brand new Version produced, by Producer Mister AC. When we heard that October was the official month for anti-bullying, we just knew that it would be the perfect song! “What’s Right With Me” has always been one of our favorite songs, The message is sooo important! Instead of always finding the faults or shortcomings in our lives, we all need to focus on the positive – on what’s RIGHT with us. What does this song mean to you?
Alyssa: For us, this song means that there is always a bright side and highlighting what is right within oneself. If you love a certain attribute about yourself, JAGMAC Encourages you to embrace that, even with your insecurities. Through the message of ‘What’s Right With Me’ our Hopes are to build up everyone’s self esteem through a positive message to combat all bullies!
Will there be a new music video for “What’s Right with Me”?
Alyssa: There is nothing definite yet, but we have had the new Version produced by Mister AC has been synced to the Original Video, and out on YouTube. In the meantime, we’re encouraging others to join in with us on our challenge, by creating your own videos, to spread positivity within oneself. We’d love to see you sharing your self positive message through our song, What’s Right With Me.”
What’s been your reaction to all the success the band has been having?!?
Manjo: We feel super blessed and extremely grateful for the opportunities that we have encountered. Thanks to our Fans, Team and Label, Unitas Entertainment for being with us on our amazing journey thus far, we don’t know if we could do it without the support. Everyday we look forward to what’s going to be on the next page.”
Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists today?
Manjo: Social media has become such an important tool for artists. It’s a great way to connect with fans and a great way to make new fans. It is also FREE advertisement – so take advantage of it! But just remember that not everyone will always love what you do, and that’s okay. Just remember to stay focused on the POSITIVE! You guys are also going on tour soon!! How excited are y’all for tour?
Gabriel: Yes, we will be opening up for the extremely talented boy band, 4th Ave. We are SUPER excited to get back on tour and definitely feel like we are in our element when we are out every night doing what we love to do – performing! We met so many amazing people on tour last year. We’ve been anxious to reconnect with all of them and, of course, meet new people and hopefully, make new fans.
What’s the feeling you get when meeting your supporters on tour?
Gabriel: Every time we are out performing and fans wait to meet us after a show, it is such a wonderful feeling to know that our music touched them in a special way enough to make them want to stay. Sometimes fans bring gifts and letters telling us how our music maybe helped them through a difficult time or just made them happy. Another thing that so surreal to us is when we are performing and we hear people singing all of the lyrics to our songs! That is the coolest feeling ever!
Can you spill any details about your set list?

Any other fun things in the works you can tell us about?
Angelique: Yes, we’ve been hard at work in the studio creating exciting new music. So that’s super enjoyable for us! In addition we’ll be Joining 4th Ave. on their nationwide tour all across the US. We’ll be performing for the Food & Wine Festival For Disney Du Jour Dance Party at Epcot on October 18th & 19th, in Orlando. Also opening up for our good friends, In Real Life, on October 23rd, at Union Station in Washington DC, and we will be Headlining our own show at Jammin Java, in Vienna, Virginia this coming January 2020. What’s an average day for you look like right now?
Jared: Our days are jam-packed right now with rehearsals, and learning a lot of new choreography. We also are spending a lot of time working with our team, and promoting the #WhatsRightWithMe movement on social media because it is something we believe in so strongly. We also try to find time to work out and do our martial arts training as well.
