Indi Star Chats With TMI About Journey With Acting, Singing, & Social Media!
Hey Indi!! So excited to be chatting with you!! You are definitely a triple threat, you sing, dance, and act. What inspired you to pursue all these amazing things?
I knew since I was a little that I loved being creative. My parents had me try everything as far as hobbies but my passion ended up being singing, dancing and theatrical musicals. If you want to do it for fun you stay where you live, but if you want to take it professionally, welcome to LA!
How would you describe your musical style as an artist?
Right now I am focused on pop, fun music but I also intertwine that with inspiration.
What artists do you look up to right now?
I love Melanie Martinez, still !!! Its been a while but her lyrics are like poetry.
What is your current go-to song or artist?
Lewis Capaldi – Before You Go
Your third single “Lulla Bye Bye” just came out!! Can you tell us what this song means to you?
This song was written about friends where you think – I thought we were ride or dies and then you leave each other for other friends and your like – Did you really mean it or are you one of those fake friends?
How excited are you to be releasing your own original music?
I absolutely love the creative process of making music, it will never get old.
What do you hope your supporters will think of your new music?
I hope they love it and get into it , bring out their feelings so they resonate with it
Any other fun things in the works for your music career?
I’m in the studio again with a super fun end of summer bop – of course about my friends!
You have also made a name for yourself in the dance world. How did your passion for dance start?
I started dancing when I was 3 but when I moved out to Cali I realized that this was the real deal. Abby Lee Miller was my first teacher that taught me how to be a professional dancer and I am grateful to her.
What’s your favorite dance style?
Contemporary 100% , holding music notes with your body is insane!
Do you look up to anyone in the dance world?
I have too many to mention. There are so many dancers who have brought me to where I am today, everyone has played a part. I do have a special place in my heart for my contemporary and modern dance teacher – Olga Sovoloka. She introduced me to my favorite dance styles and instilled a love and respect for the dance style. Guy Groove is another choreographer who I really appreciate. He was my first Hip Hop teacher and he is so passionate about his art that he is an inspiration to all his students.
You started acting at a very young age as well. What actor/actress are you influenced by?
I would say Millie Bobbie Brown & Mckenna Grace are two of my favorites right now. I love where they take their roles
What’s been your favorite role to play and why?
I love my first co star role ever which was on Henry Danger because its such an iconic show but I really am more of a drama show than a comedy show person.
Are there any other projects in the works you can tell us about?
I have a movie that just went up for sale at the Cannes Virtual Market (since the Cannes film festival was cancelled). It called “The Hyperions” and I play the younger version of a super hero. I’m hoping to see it on the big screen.
What are your friends and parents’ thoughts on your career in singing and acting?
When I was younger my mom thought if I’m not on the disney chanel then we were moving back home, I didnt even have headshots done by 3 months..obviously we were green to the business, 6 years later our family had realized its a journey and we love it.
Overall, how has this whole acting and singing career experience been for you?
I love it but you need patience. My favorite quote my agent told me was you made it to the olympics now its time to win the gold!
Do you have any other talents other than singing and dancing?
Yes i am a gamer and skateboarder!
What 5 words would you use to describe yourself?
Fun, Calm, Happy, Kind and Considerate
You also have gained a massive social media fanbase, why do you think social media is so important for teen artists today?
I think kids love relating to other kids, its such a better way of connecting with people, its like an art show everyday of who you are.
What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?
My fandom are stars in my galaxy based on my middle name Star
What are three words you would use to describe your fans?
Stars, Beautiful, Loyal
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
I am always the last one to leave the house, my family sits and waits for me in the car. Still dont know why I’m so slow?
