Hey Els, How was your summer?

My summer was awesome. I finally had a chance to explore many beaches in LA.

You have created a huge social media presence for yourself. Why do you think social media is so important for artists today?

Social Media is like a new home for artists. It is personal, yet anyone can visit your home. So, I decided to be a good host for whoever enjoy my home (social media). And honestly, my concern is not on social media but in the society itself. I want to give positive influence for people.

With a massive following already your supporters must have a name for themselves. Does your fan base have a name?

I started my music carrer by promoting a campaign to encourage kids to be “a better generation”. From there, people started to call us as El Generation. And I will forever motivate kids and young people to be a better generation.

How do you want your relationship to be with your fans?

I want them to really understand my music and the message of it.

What was the craziest fan encounter you have had?

The craziest one was first time got a phone call from a fan. They even called my home. Well, I thought it was, until few days after calling.. there were some fans came to my house and insist to come in. But I stilll love them. 😉

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your fans?

Instagram

You recently had the opportunity to have Silentó featured on one of your original songs, can you tell us a little bit about what that experience was like?

My Goodness. Silento such a big brother for me. He taught me a lot about music. He is my first family in US. Moreover, my best experience was when we performed live together in Malaysia, in front of more than 50,000 people! We were surprised that people sang the Slide song very well. That was so fun.

What’s your style?

Of course I use sneakers a lot. But maybe you don’t know that I can run and dance in high heels!  Well, my style is always on a whole way different level than most of the kids of my age.

What goals have you set out for yourself in your career and in your personal life?

I am focusing myself on writing more songs this year. I would like to take over the music trend in the future and go around the world to share my musics. For personal life, I will bring my grandparents in Indonesia to live in LA together with me.

How has this whole music career experience been?

Awesome! I love America and its artists. I have been learning and creating new things that supported my passion.

How do you want your music to impact your supporters?

Well, I take my music seriously. Being on the studio for hours to take care every single beats and words. I was there from writing, producing, until mixing. It is my passion but not an easy job. I did it because I want to give the best for the listeners so they can understand my music which naturally giving positive impact for anyone.

Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Find your strength and be proud of it. No one can underestimate us because we are young. We are born to be a better generation.
