Hey Sciarra! So excited to be chatting with you! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I’m an electronic-pop artist and songwriter originally from Anaheim, CA now based in Los Angeles. I have been writing music for TV & film the last few years which grew my love for orchestral music and made want to go in a different direction with my music. My current songs are a mix of orchestral, indie electronica, and dark alternative pop with influences of artists I grew up with such as Lana Del Rey and Nero.

Where did your love of music come from?

I grew up doing musical theater which originally grew my love for performing and singing. While I was doing that, I was learning piano and writing poetry in my free time. Eventually, I decided I wanted to try making songs with my poetry and really enjoyed the process of songwriting. After that, I continued writing more songs and started working with different producers in my hometown learning more about songwriting and recording.

What artists do you look up to right now?

A few of my favorite artists right now are Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish, Finneas, and Elohim. I love how they are true to themselves as artists and continue doing music they love despite the pressure to go with what is trending.

Your gearing up for the reales of your powerful new single “Surrender It All”! How excited were you to get this project out into the world?!?

I am really excited to finally release this song! I have been working on this one for over 6 months. It took along time to get the song where I wanted it to be. I wanted the song to truly be me as an artist and mix all of my different influences which can be a challenge at times. But I am finally happy with it and hope everyone loves it as much as I do.

Can you tell us what this song means to you?

I wrote this song about the monster living inside our mind that we are constantly trying to battle that makes us feel sad, angry, or emotional that we keep trying to run from. But we realize that we have to accept it to be able to move forward. We all go through dark times but in those moments we feel the most alone. But I want people to know they are never alone in the fight and have music they can truly relate to. I know when we get into a negative spiral that it’s really hard to rewire your thoughts so I hope that my music can truly impact the person listening and help them through.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

I hope they will feel connected to it and not feel so alone.

Will there be a music video for your new single? If so can you spill any details about it?

I don’t think there will be a music video for this particular song but there will be for future singles I am working on. So keep a look out for those!

What other release plans do you have for 2020?

I have a bunch of new singles lined up to release throughout the year. My next one should be released in the summer!

What do you hope your supporters will think from hearing your new music?

My overall goal with my music is to bring more truth to the music scene and reflect what is really going on in the world. I hope my supporters will feel like they have music they can relate to and feel impacted by it. I hope that it can help them through whatever they may be feeling.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your supporters?

I mainly use Instagram and TikTok which they can find me on both @Sciarramusic

Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?

The world might be in a really challenging place right now but we are all in this together. If we stick together and help each other, we will get through it and come out stronger than ever.
