Hey Trust’N, So excited to be chatting with you! Since it’s officially fall! How was your summer?

My summer was amazing. I was able to spend it at home with my family and friends. I worked a full time job but did music whenever I had time. I also, had a very successful summer as well. Definitely one of the best summers of my life!

You recently released your new album “Lapse” and it’s gotten an amazing reaction from your supporters!! How excited were to finally release new music?

For the first ever I was fully confident in a release top to bottom. I knew BKWDS and I had come up with something special. It was so hard having it down and waiting for it to come out. I am thrilled with the way people reacted to it. I was super exciting.

What’s been your reaction to all the success the new music has been having?

It’s just kept me going by giving me motivation to keep going and make more music. Now that I have a world wide audience of listeners I am excited for them to hear the new stuff I’ve been working on.

What does this album mean to you?

The album means everything. It was a tool I used to cope with a really tough break up I was going through last winter and early spring. Most of those songs were written during the toughest times of my life. Thats what makes it so special to me. To wear my heart on my sleeve and watch the album go viral was incredibly humbling. It made me feel like my struggle wasn’t in vain. That album helped me grow into the person I am today.

Your album was #12 in the world in July!! How excited were you when you found out about this amazing accomplishment?!?!

I remember waking up and calling Marc (BKWDS) to tell him that our album was #12 in the world. It was literally the craziest thing to ever happen to me. It’s a moment i’ll never forget.

Did this accomplishment help your music career kick off?

Yes. Having the viral songs and major press coverage has opened so many doors as an artist. It definitely was a huge step.

I have been writing music for 4 or so years now. But only in the last 6 months did I really start to take it seriously. After my ex broke up with me it was all I had left so I decided to pursue it with more passion and energy. Now I’m addicted to it and the success just motivates me all the more.
