Hey LX, So excited to be chatting with you! Since it’s officially fall! How was your summer?

Hi there! My summer was really awesome, thanks for asking! My family and I visited Japan for the first time.

You are gearing up for the release of your new single “Blame On Me.” How did the idea for this song get created?

“Blame On Me” is for those who hammered the nail in the coffin and are excited to rub it in your face. This song is about leaving a toxic relationship, but more importantly it’s about leaving in a confident manner and knowing your self-worth. The line “Did I mention I’m amazing?” is really significant because not only is it sarcastic, but it encourages girls to be confident in themselves.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

Hopefully it brings out their sassy side! I want people to hear this song and know they are amazing enough to confidently walk away from a toxic situation knowing they will be just fine on his/her own. This doesn’t even have to be about a love relationship, it could be about a best friend or even a family member.

What do you want your music to do for your fans? What do you want your message to be?

At the end of the day, all I want is for my fans to relate to me. My hope is to fill their day with lyrics they NEED to hear. I also want my fans to feel confident in themselves and know they are not alone. One of my favorite parts of my show is the last line I sing in “Blame On Me.” The whole band quiets down and I end the song with, “Don’t forget that YOU’RE amazing!”

Are there any projects in the works you can tell us about?

I’ve been writing a ton lately, but I hope to continue releasing about 2 or 3 more singles before I release a more cohesive collection.

Do you have any last things you want to tell your fans?

Oh yeah… Did I mention you’re amazing?

Thanks for all the love and support! Also huge thank you to Teen Music Insider for having me!
