TEEN POP ACT TYLER SELLERS RELEASES VIDEO FOR CURRENT SINGLE “FRIEND ZONE”
“FRIEND ZONE” FEATURED ON DEBUT EP TO BE RELEASED ON APRIL 28TH VIA FRETMONKEY RECORDS
(LOS ANGELES) — Rising teen star Tyler Sellers has just released the video for his infectious new single, “Friend Zone.” The video premiered on Sweety High yesterday and features Tyler practicing at his High School football field, followed by an impromptu performance at a party, all while trying to catch the attention of his “friend zone” crush. Ultimately, Tyler’s dream of being let out of the friend zone comes true when he wakes up the next day to discover a selfie of himself and his crush together. Tyler had this to say about the video: “This video, in my opinion, relates to all teenagers, because we’ve all experienced the friend zone at some time. The story goes that the guy meets this girl and he’s in the friend zone. He finally gets out of the friend zone but then wakes up wondering if it was a dream. When he sees the pictures on his phone that he had taken with the girl the night before, he realizes that he really did make it out of the friend zone. I usually write songs from inspiration, but this one I actually wrote from experience.”
“Friend Zone” is featured on Tyler Sellers’ debut EP, to be released on FRETMONKEY RECORDS on April 28th. “Friend Zone” is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and everywhere digital music is found.

Tyler’s talent quickly put him on the radar of FRETMONKEY RECORDS, an artist community and label that features 23 world renowned acoustic guitar players such as Don Alder, Jake Hertzog, and Oscar Mendez. FRETMONKEY were so blown away by Tyler’s abilities, that they invited him to be a founding member. Tyler has spent the past couple of years cutting his teeth performing in various showcases, including opening for renowned guitarist, Laurence Juber. He has also played the famous Bluebird Café in Nashville, a preeminent songwriter performance space that has been the setting for some legendary performances and songwriting collaborations over the years. Now, with experience and some of the biggest names in the genre on his side, Tyler is recording his first record with FRETMONKEY, an exciting debut EP to be released this Spring, with a debut album to follow.
