“Call me karma, I am cruel. Because now I’m coming back to bite.” – Taylor Grey

Shortly after a year of her debut album release Space Case, Taylor Grey is back and ready to show fans what’s in store for the songwriter/singer. The 21-year-old has recently announced that it’s “time for a change,” and fans are eager for the anticipated new direction. Taylor Grey has remained an inspiration for what she stands for – hard work, self-love, and female empowerment. Though she’s been on the down-low with music ventures since her last release “Poison,” she never stops growing as an artist and a Stanford student in Neuroscience. Her warm voice and infectious beats are a breath of fresh air amidst pop music today, and there’s no doubt she will continue to revolutionize the world of pop.

Taylor is set to perform at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles on Friday, August 31st, where she will take over the second stage and give the audience a very special and intimate performance. With a new single, “Back to Bite” scheduled to release the very same day, Taylor will premiere the new single + additional unreleased music from her upcoming EP, a new chapter and more mature state of being. Hotel Cafe will be unlike any performance Taylor has ever done and fans will get a very up-close sneak peak of what is to come from Taylor Grey.

What have you been doing to prepare for your show coming up?

This is cheesy, but in a way this entire year was preparation. I spent a lot of time reflecting on myself and I think that shows through my writing, and I hope it shines through on stage. One of my goals is to be more vulnerable and transparent, so I don’t want my show to be too perfect, I want it to be relatable and a f*cking good time.

Any surprises you can spill about the show?

Nope 😉 Just kidding, there aren’t really any surprises. Perhaps the new music will provide a shock factor though. To me, it feels different from anything I’ve done.

Can you tell us about your new song your releasing on the day of the show?

This is a song I wrote to reclaim my power that has been stripped from me, to empower others, and to have a little fun. No one can silence your voice, now we’re coming back stronger than ever and we’re coming Back to Bite.

What song are you most excited to perform?/ What’s your favorite song to perform live?

I’m really excited to perform a really personal ballad. Who knows, I might tear up on stage.

What does it feel like to perform your own music live in front of your supporters?

It’s nerve-wracking. I really want my supporters to like the music, and resonate with it; I hope to make them proud. I didn’t pull any punches with this E.P., I hope people appreciate the honesty.
