Hey St. Levi!! So excited to be chatting with you.
You recently released your new EP “hey, can you ease my pain?”. Can you tell us what this project means to you?
“Wow, this project means the world to me, it is the shift in my music making, it took me some time to realize what I want to achieve with my music, to find the direction, the colors, and that project is the absolute answer to it.”
What’s been your reaction to the fan’s love for your new project?
“It’s crazy actually, I recently get way more attention from the media and the listeners find their way to reach me and show love, it’s just surreal, going from 20 views on YouTube on my debut EP in 2016 to hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify is amazing and it’s just the beginning!”
How excited were you to get this project out into the world?
“So much! Putting out music is always exciting and I always feel like it’s a holiday on release dates. But besides that, that project is my maturation journey, some of the songs in there were written about 2 years ago, they had very different productions and the lyrics weren’t really there back then, but I worked really hard in the past year to get them the way I wanted!”
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?
“I really hope that my supporters will see my growth as a man, I hope they will get a different perspective of looking at their relationships from songs like “Play No Games” and obviously have a great time listening.”
Do you have a favorite song off the album?
“You came in with a hard one! Though I think I would say “Play No Games”.
What’s up next for you? A tour maybe?
“I would love to say it’s a tour, but the situation doesn’t let us tour yet, but be sure that more music, collaborations, remixes and visuals are on the way!”
How do you want your relationship to be like with your supporters?
“My relationship with my supporters is amazing, I answer every DM and see every comment, I love to be connected to the people, I think that’s the most important thing in life, being a human, being social and loving.”
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
“Whoo, actually a lot! I support staying a bit private with my life but a funny thing about me that I don’t think anybody knows is that I was using a dummy until I was 6 (!), don’t ask me why, I know, it’s weird.”
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
“I want them to feel free to talk, be nice, be humble and show love.”
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
“I want my message to be positivity really, we’re living in a world where hate and negativity is so dominant and that’s so wrong for me, I want to give the world as much love as possible, I want my message to be a message of constant growth, constant learning and unconditional love to each other, isn’t it what we all here for?”
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
“Pride.”
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
“A lot! But the main 3 for now would be Kanye, Ryan Tedder and Jon Bellion, I love those guys!”
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
“Social media is very important nowadays because that’s the most accessible connecting tool we have, everyone has it in their pocket, music releases within a touch of a button and it’s important for artists, and especially the young ones, to be as online and connected as possible.”
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
“My biggest goal is to control my life, wake up early, keep getting better everyday at every aspect of life, be happy, have a beautiful relationship and do the things I love the most and do them at the highest levels.”
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
“Be you, be unique, love everyone, you’re dominating your life, stay positive and human. I love y’all!”
