So excited to be chatting with you! You just released your new single! How excited are you that this song is finally out into the world?
I’m so thrilled people get to hear what I’ve been working so hard on! I’m really happy with the way the song turned out and it has so much meaning to me.
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?
I hope they’ll take the time to listen to the lyrics to better understand the depth behind the song. I hope they love it as much as I do!
Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?
Absolutely! I wrote this song from a place of mental confusion and not knowing how to express how I feel. It’s about questioning my thoughts and the idea that my mind can take over, and how that’s something I need to break away from.
You also have more music coming out in soon!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to from you this year?!?
Yes, my second original is coming out very soon! I would definitely say expect a lot more music and maybe even an album or ep… As far as acting, i’m working on a new project at the moment that I still can’t say much on yet!
Do you have a creative say in your music?
Yes! I co-write my music with my producer and songwriter! It’s an amazing experience being able to put together a scramble of thoughts into a song that portrays how I feel or what I want to say.
Did you help write all your new songs?
I did, and this is still new to me so I’m really enjoying the process.
What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?
Absolutely unreal! A year ago I couldn’t even imagine myself releasing music. It was something I had been wanting to do for quite a long time but I’m so happy I’m finally doing it!
Where did your love of music come from?
My parents 🙂 They are both professional classical musicians and ever since I was a kid I’ve watched them perform live concerts.
Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video?
Yes there will be! We’re in the process of storyboarding it right now, but it’s going to in the realm of something visually artistic.
What’s been the pros and cons of pursuing your music career?
At this point I don’t see any cons, I’ve enjoyed my journey every step of the way! Music is such a great way for me to express myself and it is so stress relieving.
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
My parents! They’ve been nothing but supportive and have always been there to help me pursue my dreams. I couldn’t have been doing anything I’m doing right now without them.
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
First off, just a big thank you to them for always being so encouraging and sweet. As far as my song, I’d want them to take the real emotion from it and the meaning behind the lyrics, and how it’s okay to be confused or not be okay all the time.
Are you planning any IG Live shows to promote your new music?
I livestream on my instagram pretty much daily and share my latest updates with everyone! I share about my music, release dates, and everything of the sort.
What is it like performing in front of your fans? Are you excited to start performing your own music live!?!
I’ve only ever performed a couple covers live in the past, but would absolutely LOVE to start performing my originals! I’ve always been a huge fan of performing on stage and would be thrilled to take part in it again. I’m hoping to go on tour one day!
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
Come up to me! I would absolutely love to meet anyone who takes the time to support me on social media. It mean so much and I would love to properly show my appreciation!
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
Zendaya and Gerald Butler! They’re both so incredibly talented and inspiring.
What’s your current go-to song?
“The night is still young” by Nicki Minaj! It especially gets me motivated when i’m working out.
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
It’s a platform to share your passion! It’s a way to get the world to see your hard work and also get inspired by others.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
I would absolutely love to work a big tv set in the near future!
