LA-based metalbilly group, Calling Kings will be releasing their new EP and music video, both entitled “Fake” on November 9th.
“Fake” is all about the disconnection that continues to affect people through social media and their phones.
“When Will it End,” which also appears on the EP reinforces that notion by talking about the rift that’s being created between people with social media, tech, and politics.
Calling Kings bring the feel of the 1950’s to a harder contemporary showcase. The band has been featured in Alt Press (Top 10 New Bands you Need to Listen To), Alt Press Spotify’s Playlist, New Noise Magazine, National Spotlight, and more. They have also toured extensively, playing with rock stalwarts Wanda Jackson, Delta Bombers, Koffin Kats and more. Most recently, they have partnered with Reverend Guitars, GHS Strings, FMI, Earthquaker Devices, and Innovation Strings.
The songs from the “Fake” EP are being released to Spotify, Apple Music, and everything other major streaming service on Nov 9th, and the music video will be released on Youtube and Facebook.
