Hey Guys! So excited to be chatting with you again!! 2020 has been a crazy year for most of us. Trying to keep positive – What has been the greatest moment of 2020 for you?
We were very excited to release, ‘Worry A Little Less’. It’s a massive step up from all of our other music and because we’ve been writing it first-hand, it’s so much more special to us. (M&H)
You guys have just announced a bunch of awesome stuff y’all have been working on during quarantine. The first of which is your new single “Worry A Little Less”! I personally have had it on repeat lol. Were there any recording challenges because of the pandemic?
We did have a few issues at the start but I quickly took action and figured out how to form a fully functioning recording studio in my bedroom! And we’ve recorded a fair few songs that we hope to release as well as ‘Worry A Little Less’. (M)
It’s been a while since you guys have released original music. What led you guys to decide to release this single first? & What does this single mean to you?
We personally thought that everyone needed a bit of a moral boost with this song and it has such a positive message directed towards the things that have been happening this year so we thought it would be best to release it first for that reason. (M)
You guys have released an awesome lyric video for “Worry A Little Less”, but are you guys planning to release an actual music video for your new single as well?
We may have something up our sleeves… (M&H)
Have you guys been working on an album during this time off?
We haven’t been working on an album as we personally don’t think we’re at the point in our career to release an album, we’re still figuring out our sound and feel we need much more experience before taking on such a huge challenge of making an album (H)
You guys also just released the dates for your upcoming tour “This is not a phase tour”! How excited are you to get back on the road?
I don’t think I look forward to anything more than performing live and getting to see all of our fans, it’s genuinely the best feeling to be able to perform our songs to people that love listening to them (M)
Do you have any fun/funny tour moments you can tell us about?
In the recent tours Glasgow show both me (Max) and our support act Jenna Raine, fell up the stairs going on to the stage and completely stacked it when we needed to be on stage! (M)
What’s your favorite part about being on tour?
Definitely getting to tour the countries different cities and getting to see all our beautiful fans (H)
What do you love most about your supporters?
They’re so chaotic but in the best way, they know that to make our performance as good as it can be, they need to give us almost as much energy as we give them, and it makes the whole atmosphere INCREDIBLE. We genuinely couldn’t ask for better fans (M)
Can you tell us about your new podcast series: Max & Harvey School Daze?
‘School Daze’ is possibly one of the most relatable podcasts out there as everyone has something to say about their school life (H)
Since it is the holidays, have you guys ever considered recording a Christmas song?
We definitely missed the trick on a Christmas song this year but maybe we’ll tackle one in the future (M)
How do you want your music to be remembered?
As something people can dance to and just generally be happy listening to (H)
Who have been your strongest allies in your career?
Definitely our family and our awesome management and team (M&H)
What do you see as the most important part of your journey?
Everything we do! We learn from all of our experiences (H)

If Hollywood made a movie about you guys, what would you want to be the title and who would you want to play each of you?
Organized chaos and I’d want Ryan Reynolds to play me and Paul Rudd to play Harvey ??♂️ (M)
