Hey Luciana 🙂 So excited to be chatting with you!! You are about to release your powerful new single “Purpose” & I heard it’s amazing! What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song? & What do you hope they’ll get from hearing your new song?
My new song “Purpose” is, to date, my most personal song I have written and that will be released. I hope my fans will identify with the message that we all are on a journey to discover our purpose in life. For me, when I hear this song, it is my anthem for where I am at in my life and career as an artist, and I hope that my fans can hear this song as an anthem too for where ever they are at on their own journey.
Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?
Back story is very personal. A lot of the time I get asked “what are you going to really do with your life?” I always receive comments that are not the most encouraging. “Purpose” became the song that was my response to all those doubtful comments.
You also have more music coming out in 2019!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to next year?!?
Yes! There are a total of 6 new singles on the way! After “Purpose” is released “Beautiful Day” will be released which is my second favorite out of the bunch! I am also in the process of filming the music video for “Purpose.”
What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?
It’s honestly the biggest confidence booster as an artist! My original music is a huge part of me that I am very proud of.
Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video 🙂
Yes, I can’t tell you too much! Although, what I will say, is that we will be filming in the flower fields!
What’s been the pros and cons of sharing your life on social media?
I actually find it hard to share my life on social media, since I am not the best at documenting myself. I am working on being more “exposed,” if you will, on social media. Although! I have made a lot of connections through social media, and I think it’s an amazing tool.
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
My parents, they are the support system of my career and the ones to thank for where I am at today, and for whats to come.
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
Purpose, is actually my new phase of life that holds a message that I want my fans to take away from my music, my shows and music videos. I feel as if we all need a purpose. With social media, and with how many expectations we have for each other and our selves. I feel as if we lose our purpose or our individual worth. I want my fans to be inspired to go and find and discover their purpose and worth, no matter what age or stage they are at in their lives. We all need a purpose.
Are you planning any shows to promote your new music?
Shows are definitely in the near future with new music! All I will say for now, is PRIDE;) !
What is it like performing in front of your fans?
A feeling that I deeply miss! I love performing with my fans and the energy that they have. Being on stage is the best feeling ever and I would have to say one of my favorite aspects of my career!
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
I am a crazy perfectionist! I will work on a song for weeks before it even enters the mixing and mastering studio. I want the beat to be perfect. I want my vocals to have the feeling, the emotion. It has to be what I imagined in my head when I created the beat or other wise it won’t tell the story.
Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you. Have you ever been starstruck?
I love this question! (Lol) I have had a couple fans be very starstruck when meeting them! I recently have met a couple of celebrities in the business, and have definitely had stars in my eyes when meeting them!
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
Say hello! Don’t be shy! I love to see my fans, and say hello and meet you guys!
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
I really want to meet Gaga and Bruno!! I would love to even be a fly on the wall in their studio sessions! Or hey, create a song together!
Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists like yourself?
It is the ultimate platform for artist to share, promote and be close to their fans. It’s the current day news paper/media platform! It’s critical for all artist no question.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
My biggest goal right now is to get on an Official Spotify Playlist since that would be amazing!!
