So Lily, you started off your career as a social media influencer what led you start social media in the first place?

I thought it would just be a fun little side hobby and something new and different I could be into, so I gave it a try.

When did you realize that this could become a career for you?

I never really understood the power of social media, and marketing it. I honestly just thought it would be fun to try. I never knew it could be a real career until I got involved in the world.

What are your thoughts on the growth of social media?

It’s unbelievable to me how social media has taken over our generation, more teens seem to be looking up to creators over athletes, singers, or actors. Also, if you have a following on any platform, it’s like a short cut to your dreams. I’ve met many smaller creators who want to release music soon, and since they have a following, those people would listen to their music.

Are you planning to branch out into acting or singing?

Honestly, I was never gifted in those areas, but with social media, there are many possible carrers that could be made out of it outside that realm.

Are there any projects in the works you can tell us about?

I may or may not release merch soon.

What was the craziest fan encounter you have had?

It was about 11:30 at night and I was at Playlist walking downstairs to go get some snacks before I was going to head up to my hotel room for the night. I was extremely tired so my reaction time was really low. Out of no where this girl literally jumps on me and I was confused who she was and what was going on, and then I realized she was just a supporter. She wouldn’t let go of me and she made me really uncomfortable but I was still trying to be nice, but eventually I had to push her off and walk away. Nothing against her, but if you want a picture with someone you should ask and not basically tackle someone haha.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your supporters?

Most of my following is on instagram, but I’ve been working on expanding it to TikTok, and eventually YouTube.

What’s the best thing that’s come out of this career so far?

Honestly, just being able to connect with supporters and other creators. I definitely build some great friendships with other creators, and strong bonds with my supporters.

What’s the biggest struggle as a social media star?

For me, it’s definitely balancing school, sports, and social media. I find it extremely hard to even make a TikTok after school, sports, then coming home and doing homework. This causes me to take breaks from social media which is extremely annoying to me because I truly enjoy making content.

Whats an average day for you look like?

Most days it’s school, after school activities, homework, and then social media.

Do you have any last things you want to tell your fans?

Be persistent with everything you do. Everything takes time, no matter how close or far you might be from that goal, it will take time. As long as you are persistent, your goals will eventually be fulfilled.
