What has been the greatest moment of 2020 for you?

2020 has housed a lot of amazing experiences. This year has brought me a lot of emotional clarity, clarity in my writing, and precision in my performance.

My greatest moment of 2020 was the release of my third album, “of Thank You”, and the music video that debuted with it. I was able to secure some amazing press for my newest album from Grateful Web, JamBase, The Denver Westword, Music Trails, and more. Such an awesome time. Pursuing my dreams and seeing success. Check out the music video for “NYKO, NYKO”, directed by Matt Kilgore: https://youtu.be/2sYdmY3xdrc

How do you want your art to be remembered?

I desire my music to be remembered for its ability to connect with people far and wide… from all walks of life.

People will listen to the immersive music I create and be transported to the beneficial spiritual place and memory their soul calls them to go.

I want people to listen to my songs, or read my writing, or watch my performances and think, “She knows me. She hears me.

I care about her. Kendra cares about me.” That’s how I feel when I hear my favorite artists. I feel seen, loved, and perplexed by the talent witnessed.

It’s connection and comfort that raises the hairs on my arms through high-frequency transmission.

How have you felt most appreciated as a creative and artist?

I feel really appreciated when people come up to me after my shows and say, “I’ve been watching your journey, and I just want to tell you how inspirational it is to see you grow.” It’s awesome because I feel recognized, and I get to know that my fans and friends are in on it with me. They are happy to see me following my dreams and in that way, they are a part of it. When I succeed, we succeed. When my fans succeed, I do too. We are family. The bunny family.

I also love it when people come up to me after a show and ask the name of a specific song. It means my performance spoke to them.

Who have been your strongest allies in your career?

My manager and team at BSquaredMGMT. T-Roy with Surge Event in Los Angeles. Artist & Creator, Matt Kilgore from Nervous Vulpis & All Shapes.

My fans: John, Emily Sudela, Jacob, Drake, Eric, Joann, Luis. — always cheering me on. Besties: Erin, Nicole, Mom, Chelsey, Emily Morgan.

All the venues, brands, and promoters who reach out to collaborate. People I meet on the road.

Podcasts: Live & Amplified, Mike Wagner Show, & Musician’s Hangout! So many more, and so many thanks!

What do you see as the most important part of your journey?

The storyline bringing it all together. I often think to myself, “What is the meaning of this beautiful unfolding?”

It such a delicious feeling to revel in the moments of our lives through unique vantage points.

The most important thing to remember is to bring confidence and self-appreciation to each conversation and song.

Please tell us about your latest project and how we can get involved!
