Where did your love of music come from?
My dad was an opera singer and my whole family loved singing along to music and dancing at all family occasions… just ingrained from the get go really 🙂
What’s the meaning of the name “Faultress”?
It’s an extinct word for a female criminal! I thought I made the word up but apparently I didn’t haha.
Can you tell us a little something about you?
hmmm… mostly secrets I’m afraid. How can I say anything on here without sounding like I’m writing my Bumble profile?
You just released two new singles!! What has been your reaction to the success of the new singles?
It’s been really nice actually – I feel like we’ve really hit the nail on the head with the production and arrangements for this EP because I’ve had loads of really nice responses from people across the world saying that the music has touched them in some way.
“Sanctuary” & “Hood & Wolf” were taken from your 5 Myths EP out Nov 8th. Can you spill any details about the new EP?
Well… I can tell you it’s out November 8th and it’s all about the myths around womanhood!
How excited are you to get this project out into the world?
Too excited. Almost a bit of wee coming out.
What do you think is the benefit of having a following on social media in the music industry?
Hmm, if I’m honest, I see much less benefit then some. Having an engaged social following is magic because of the direct nature of the contact you can have with people but the sheers numbers some people aspire to are just nonsense in my opinion. I’d rather spend less time on Instagram and more time writing music.
What’s the feeling you get when performing in front of your fans?
It’s the most special place- I love making eye contact and communicating directly to them. It’s really special.
Does your fanbase have a name?
Not yet but I’ll take suggestions 🙂
How do you want your relationship to be with your fans?
Honest and open!
What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your fans?
Insta for the visuals and my mailing list for the more in depth stuff.
What was the craziest fan encounter you have had?
That would be telling…
What’s an average day for you look like?
Mainly worrying about how I’m going to fund my album and pay my rent with some bouts of walking around the park singing melodies to myself haha. No, it’s mostly meetings, writing sessions and rehearsals at the moment!
Where do you hope you career is at in 5 years time?
BIG gigs…
Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?
I’m super super grateful always and never forget all the kind words, sharing and support!
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to answer these questions.
No, thank you 🙂 I appreciate your time! Rosi x
