Hey Mollie 🙂 So excited to be chatting with you! You are gearing up for the release of your debut single! How excited are you to get this project out into the world?
Hey! Thanks for talking with me! It’s exciting for me to be putting this project out and I’m so happy to be chatting with you about it.
What do you hope your supporters will think of your debut single? & What do you hope they’ll get from hearing your new music?
I hope my supporters will love “Keep to Myself” – It can feel vulnerable at times to put your work out there, but I’m hoping that it’s a song that makes people smile!
Can you tell us the backstory of the debut single? Is it from a real experience?
“Keep to Myself” is about a relationship kept under wraps because the couple is so into each other that they don’t want outsider opinions getting in the way. That story isn’t a real experience for me, but the idea was definitely inspired by events happening in my life at the time I wrote the song. The first line of the chorus randomly came to mind as I was walking to my apartment one day, so when I got home I sat down and finished the song that afternoon!
What does this song mean to you?
This song means a lot to me! It’s really nostalgic and takes me back to a time in my life that I wouldn’t trade for anything. It also means a lot because it’s the first song I get to put out, which has been a long time coming!
Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to from you the rest of the year?!?
I’ll be in the studio next week tracking my next single, which I am beyond excited about! It will be a different vibe from “Keep to Myself,” but I think you’ll really like it. Another song I hold close to my heart!
What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?
I’ve been working towards releasing my own music since I was 14. I personally love this song and everything it means to me, so adding that to me being at a place where I’m proud of my writing ability makes me really excited to share my music!
Will there be a music video for any of your new singles? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video 🙂
I don’t have a music video for “Keep to Myself,” but I will be releasing a lyric video!
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
There are SO many people to thank for helping me get to where I am and become who I am today. I’ll forever be thankful to Jonathan George and the Contemporary Music Center staff!
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
All I could hope is that people who listen to my music feel related to, and I want my fans to have a good time and feel uplifted when I play live.

What is it like performing in front of your fans?
It’s so fun performing in front of my fans! I have the best time being with them and I hope they feel the same. I love getting to bring my songs to life and am so thankful for the opportunity to do so!
What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?
I think that loving one another is the most important thing we can do. That can seem so complicated some times but it’s not! It’s also really important to me to give people grace and remember that no one is perfect.
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
I LOVE traveling. Other than songwriting, if I could do one thing for the rest of my life, I would travel the world.
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
Please say hi if we’ve never met!
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
I would love to meet Nicolle Galyon. She’s up there with my favorite songwriters and I think she’s amazing.
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
Social media is huge because it allows artists to build relationships with people who support us! Otherwise we might never meet, so I hope I never take the opportunity to connect with people that way for granted.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
Right now, my biggest goal is to get to a place where I can write songs for a living. I’ve found a deep love for songwriting and it would be a dream to be surrounded by other songwriters to sharpen me; I’d ultimately love to do it consistently long-term!

It means so much to me that you’d let me and my music be part of your life. I love every one of you and am so thankful for your support!
