Your new single “We Are 1” is coming out very soon. Can you tell us the meaning behind the song?
In writing and performing this song… it’s about putting aside all your differences and coming together in love. No matter what race, what gender, what music style, or what beliefs you have. The 1 thing we all have in common is love❤️ While creating this song, I wanted to take 3 different styles and artists to all sing one song together, to show that we are different but through love anything and everything is possible.
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?
I honestly hope that they can relate and connect with the meaning of the song “We Are 1”. Also, that they may understand the key message which is to embrace your differences by accepting them and not letting them hinder you or your life by using our differences as an excuse. Instead use your voice and join together in love because that is the one thing we all have in common is love.
You recently got the lead role in a series of music videos for the popular band Seven Lions. Can you tell us about this cool project?
It has honestly been such a life changing and incredible experience playing “Ophelia” in Seven Lions Music video Continuance series. They are the kindest people to work with and they always make me feel included. I’ve flown all over making Live appearances at their concerts and festivals … I love that it is a continuance series because as I grow up the audience and fans who follow the story line get to watch me grow up as well. It’s honestly surreal and so is the journey and emotional adventure my lead character Ophelia has. Seven Lions loved my portrayal of the character so much, that they decided to name their new record label they opened after the character I play… “Ophelia Records.” I feel so thankful and blessed to work with such an epic EDM artist and team.
Do you have any other cool projects in the works you can tell us about?
I do actually have a couple of projects in the works! You can catch “Should I Do It?” a new series I am honored to play the lead in as Mia Hill soon…. I am unable to announce the network yet!.. I can’t wait to launch my new show I created called the “Rosster”… For any updates or questions etc. I would love to hear from y’all so feel free to reach out to me on my social media INSTAGRAM: @ainsley_ross
You also have been involved in some amazing charities including the Jonathan Foundation. How did you become involved with these cool organizations?
I’m super thankful and grateful! I couldn’t do it without Jennifer Tinucci at Key Elements PR and my parents Aubrey Cohorst and (Pops) Lance Cohorst as well as my Dad Clint Ross. They give me the opportunities to socialize and network with certain charities / and or present me with so many opportunities. You just honestly have to talk to people and be who you are. I ask how I can get involved and or give back.. and if the charity’s message and I’s align then we proceed and further discuss what we can do for both parties involved!
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
“Never Give Up, and trust your intuition.” Thank you to all of my supporters for constantly encouraging, inspiring, and pushing me to be the best I can be. So grateful for all of you.
