What was the single best thing that happened this past year?
I got to work with amazing producers, photographers, and other creatives! The pandemic didn’t stop us from creating!
What was the single most challenging thing that happened this past year?
Homeschooling my girls at home and also working on my music career! I am still struggling with that. School started back today. Never enough time in the day. Ugh!
If 2020 was a song what would the title be?
“Here we go!”
What was the biggest thing you learned this past year?
That you really don’t need a lot to survive. Life will go on.
What is one underdeveloped talent you are willing to explore?
Production. I can do some very basic things, but I realize I could be in control of a lot more if I could produce my own tracks
What brings you joy and how are you going to do more of that in 2021?
Creating & Performing. The holidays always pull me out and put me in a funk for a couple of weeks, so I’m looking to dig my heels in this week and be fully emerged in new ideas and revisiting old ones.
What advice would you like to give yourself as you go into the New Year?
This is a long journey so if the pandemic is slow to bring our industry back it’s going to be ok. Life is long, my career is going to belong too!
If you could throw a “themed” party for yourself, what would the theme be?
Haha, I’m a sucker for 80’s party’s
