Hey Breana, so excited to be chatting with you 🙂 What inspired you to pursue a career in music & acting?
Hi! I’ve always loved watching movies and singing. It wasn’t until I was around 11 that I knew I wanted to make a career out of it and be an entertainer for the rest of my life.
You are known for your recurring role on a Crypt TV Mini Series. Can you explain the process of how you got this role?
I actually auditioned for another role for CryptTV and they ended up offering me the “monster” position!
Can you explain the show you are on & the character you portray?
I play Estelle on “Mohawk”! Estelle is the ghost that haunts the town. She uses chains to capture her victims and has an eerie youthful side to her. She sympathizes with a boy who is mistreated by kids at school and his older sister. Estelle takes it upon herself to protect him, sparking a relationship between the two.
What’s an average week like on set for you?
When I filmed Criminal Minds I filmed for a week and it was so fun! We had a lot of night shoots. I was so tired but loved every minute of being on set!
Did you want to be an actor when you were little, or did that develop later on?
I did want to be an actor when I was younger! I’ve always wanted to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera! I tried other things as well when I was younger but always came back to entertaining.
Have you ever been starstruck by anyone you’ve met so far?
I haven’t met anyone that left me really starstruck! I saw Justin Bieber once and totally fangirled on the inside. I was super chill on the outside though.
Are their any other projects in the works you can tell us about?
I’ll be going on tour soon and I have an episode of General Hospital coming out!!
What’s been your favorite acting role and why?
My favorite role has been Bethany on Criminal Minds! Such a fun and challenging role to play. She had a lot of cool stunts that were fun to learn how to do as well!
What are your friends and parents thoughts on your career in acting?
My family and friends have been super supportive of my career. I am so blessed to have a great support system!
What goals have you set out for yourself in your career and in your personal life?
My main goal is to be able to do both music and film! I’d love to be a series regular and release an album:) As far as personal goals, my main focus is maintaining good glucose levels. I’m type 1 diabetic so making sure I cut out certain food and keep exercising is important to having good levels.
What would you say has been your biggest accomplishment so far in your career?
My biggest accomplishments in my career so far have been working with CBS and releasing my first EP!
Overall, how has this whole acting career experience been for you?
My whole acting experience has been amazing. I love acting so much, I couldn’t imagine not doing it!
Do you have any advice for anyone trying to make it as an actor?
Make sure you love the business! It’s not an easy one to get into and it’s something you definitely have to be persistent with.
You also have your debut EP coming out very soon!! Can you spill any details on the new EP?
My EP actually just came out!! It’s 5 songs, mostly pop and R&B and can be streamed on Spotify and Apple Music!!
That’s Awesome!! What’s your favorite song off the EP?
My favorite is “numb” I love the vibe of that one!
How did this EP come about?
I started writing songs and going into production with my vocal coach! It’s been a long process but it’s finally here:)
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?
I hope they love it and are excited to hear more music!!
