Hey Willie!! So excited to be chatting with you. You just released your new country single “Radio”!! Can you tell us what this song means to you?

I wrote this song on a summer night in Bloomington, Indiana. A place that is very important to me. Although it has evolved over the past year or so, Radio is one of the first songs I’ve ever written, and I’m happy that it is finally out in the world.

How excited were you to get this single out into the world?

Very excited. As I mentioned, I came up with the concept of Radio a few years ago, so it has been amazing to finally put it out.

Do you have any other release plans for 2020?

Definitely. This quarantine period has given me the opportunity to work on new songs, demos, and ideas. I have three songs that I’m working on finishing at the moment, so expect to hear another single in June and an album later this year.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?

All of my music is inspired by real life experiences and emotions, and I hope that my supporters are able to find something to relate to in my songs, whether it is a love song, a sad song, or a party song. One of my new songs, “Girl Like That” is best enjoyed with the windows down and the volume up! At the end of the day, I hope people will listen to my music in order to escape life’s troubles for awhile.

How do you want your relationship to be like with your supporters?

I consider anyone that supports my music to be my friend, and I love connecting with friends all over the world. I’m all about spreading love and good vibes, especially when interacting with people who support me and my music.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I am classically trained, and I wanted to be an opera singer until I turned 21.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Come say what’s up! I love meeting new people.

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

My debut single “Follow Your Soul” encourages people to never give up on their dreams, and I want my message to be just that. Not only do I want my fans and supporters to be inspired and/or enlightened after listening to my music or going to one of my shows, but most importantly I want them to be happy.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

One word: creativity

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

I think social media allows artists to develop a closer relationship with their supporters, as well as expediting the collaboration and creative process. Additionally, it helps provide insight into what content resonates with fans and followers.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

Headlining my own world tour.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Keep dreaming big and follow your soul!
