Hey Victoria! So excited to be chatting with you! You just released your new single “I Don’t Miss You”! How excited are you that this song is finally out into the world?

Words cannot express how excited I am! It’s sometimes hard for me to open up and express my true
feelings in person, and I’m so grateful to have music as my outlet to do so.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

I hope my listeners can relate to this track by interpreting it to fit into their own lives. If someone is going through a similar situation, I want them to gain the courage to leave the past in the past and
move on.

Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?

“I Don’t Miss You” is written from a personal experience of mine. A friend and I had a falling out, and at one point I started to miss our friendship. As I began writing this song about her, I realized I didn’t actually miss my friend: I missed our memories we had together.

You also have more music coming out soon!! Can you spill any details on what your
supporters can look forward to from you this year?!?

I am currently in the studio working on several singles to release this year. My next single, “Caught
Between” is coming out on March 26.

Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?

Yes, fortunately I do! For the most part, I begin writing my own songs from scratch. Once I get stuck, I bring it to my team to collaborate on finishing the track together. If my team writes the song first, they show it to me and I allow me to pitch any ideas or changes to the song.

What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?

It’s absolutely crazy to me! I’ve been wanting to release my own music for years. When I finally
released my first song in August, it was the most surreal feeling. I never thought I would have three
singles out at only 16!

Where did your love of music come from?

According to my mom, I’ve been singing since I learned how to talk. At the age of 6, I started taking
piano lessons. Throughout my elementary years, I participated in the choir and talent shows. Later, I
began playing the ukulele in 4th grade and then the guitar in 5th. From then on, I was doing anything
I could with music. There has never been anything else that I’ve been interested in except for music.
All I do is sing 24/7!

Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of
the video?

We just wrapped up the music video for my sophomore single “Yours,” which will be debuting on Valentine’s Day. We’re planning on filming more videos and maybe even a lyric video… stay tuned!

What’s been the pros and cons of pursuing your music career?

The biggest pro is waking up everyday getting to do what I love most: making music. I love sharing
my experiences with everyone, especially while I'm performing in front of a live audience. Nothing is better than feeling the energy of the audience. There are not many cons, but if I were to have one it would be the stress that comes along with having to juggle school full-time while pursuing my music career. Luckily, I have a great support system that allows me to manage both aspects of my life.

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

My parents are my biggest supporters and have never doubted me. Also, my management team at
DME Orlando has helped me grow in so many ways; Not just as a performer, but as a songwriter
too. I cannot thank them enough. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them!

Are you planning any IG Live shows to promote your new music?

Yes! I have been going live at least once a week just interacting and playing for my fans, including
my latest singles and some upcoming ones I’ve written.

What is it like performing in front of your fans? Are you excited to start performing your own
music live!?!

I absolutely love performing for my fans! Going on stage and just feeling the energy from the
audience is absolutely amazing, and I have so much fun doing it!

What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?

I want my supporters to know how grateful I am for them! The world can be very judgemental and
harsh: I’ve experienced it first hand. No matter how cheesy this sounds, if it wasn’t for my supporters
I wouldn’t be where I am today.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I actually LOVE talking to people. When meeting new people, I tend to be shy at first. I may come off
as standoffish, but once I get comfortable with them… I don’t stop talking!

Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you! Have you ever been starstruck?

Yes, for sure! I had the chance to meet Smokey Robinson a couple years ago, and I was in
complete shock. He was extremely nice and I loved talking with him! Since I’m a big hockey fan, I
ran into Mario Lemiuex one time, and I was completely speechless.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Don’t ever be afraid to come up and say hi to me! I love talking and meeting with them!

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

Dolly Parton, hands down! She has been my idol since I can remember.

What’s your current go-to song?

“Things a Man Oughta Know” by Lainey Wilson

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

I believe it is so important because it allows me to personally connect with my fans and followers by
giving them insight to my daily personal life (outside of music). It’s great being able to engage one-on-one with them too.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

My biggest dream is to be able to perform at the Country Music Awards or The Grand Ole Opry.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

I just want to tell them thank you for everything! I love you guys with all my heart and I’m so grateful
that I get to share my experiences and songs with them!

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions 🙂

THANK YOU TEEN MUSIC INSIDER!
