Hey Travis! Can you tell us what you have been up to during these crazy times?
Since this all started, I’ve been spending a lot more time in my studio writing and creating music .. Doing lots of collaborations and co writes with other artists Via Zoom ! I am also using this free time to reconnect with friends and also to learn Spanish.
Tell us more about your new single “She’s Gonna Be A Song”!!
She’s Gonna Be A Song is the 1st single of my upcoming album, and I think it gives a taste of what’s to come on this next album.. And I think the sound is a great combination of my music Influences growing up.. It’s a song that I co wrote with Luke Sheets (Nashville) and Ken Presse (Montreal). We first came up with the title and wanted to write a song about love at first sight, and I think working together was great and we ended up with a really cool song. Shortly after writing the song, I started working with my team on the synopsis and vision board for the music video ! How excited were you to finally release this single?
I was beyond happy to release this song! It was very exciting to me because it’s different from everything I’ve done in the past.. For me, it’s a new sound, a new direction, and I couldn’t wait for people to hear it! I was very proud and happy of the work we’ve done.. I have a really great team working around me, and we worked hard on this release, so I couldn’t be happier to share it with the world.
You are gearing up to release your new album as well in a few months. Can you spill any details about what your supporters should expect from your new music and sound?
I think they can expect the Country feel and style of songwriting in She’s Gonna Be A Song mixed with ringing guitar tones, and a big rock sound. Rock is a big influence for me growing up so it will always be a huge part of my sound.
How do you balance your professional career and private life?
I think I’m pretty good at balancing my career with my private life .. When I’m on tour or working on a record, I’m very focused on my work.. But when I’m at home all my focus is on my family, my friends, and staying healthy. I think balance is very important !!
If you could share the stage with any artist who would it be and why?
If I could share the stage with any artist I think it would be Guns N Roses because they have been a huge part of my influences growing up, and a big reason why I got into music, and singing!
