Can you tell us a little bit about each of you?

Robin Divver is the visionary.

Wade Divver doesn’t say much but when he does its very profound,

Joey Huffman is the seasoned veteran Rockstar with the most awesome life experiences and stories you cant even imagine. He literally has done all the things most musicians dream of doing and has played with the idles of many. He’s recorded with Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, performed and engineered Cee Lo’s Perfect Imperfections, he’s hung out with Layne Staley in Amsterdam, and partied with Bono on St. Patrick’s day in Ireland when he was with Soul Asylum.

Casey Higgins is the guitar genius. He writes books on Guitar Mechanics and teaches kids at the School Of Rock. He’s the best unknown guitarist the world needs to hear. His pedal board is something out of a NASA mission control center! Most humble bad ass we’ve ever known

Christian Caden – He’s a pilot by day and the bass man by night. If our plane is every going down, we can rely on Christian to use his expertise in training pilots on how to avert crashes to save us! So that’s nice. He’s got us covered when were high flying and he has us covered on the low end!

Tanner Camp – Tanner is like Thor on the drums. He beats the crap out of his drum set  in a very beautiful way. He’s the thunder of the band and sure does know how to keep things sounding Rock & Roll on the drums.

Jasper Sharp – Is our loving awesome big brother. He keeps everyone level headed and inspired. He’s a believer and he supports the dream every way he can. We utilize the power of crystals to manifest our wildest dreams!

Where did the name “The Endangered Species” come from?

Wade, Robin, and Jasper’s parents performed under the name in the late 80’s early 90s. When they formed their band in 2009 they decided to carry on the name. For them it represents a message. The Endangered Species represents the Human Species. If we don’t raise our consciousness and change the course man is on, we will eventually seize to exist. We are The Endangered Species and so is a conscious and awaken thought process.

What do you want your supporters to get from hearing your music?

We want our listeners to be able to connect to the raw emotions and feelings of every track. We want them to dissect the lyrics and tap their foot to the beat. There is a message in all of our songs waiting to be interpreted by the listener.

What artists do you look up to right now?
We love TOOL’s approach. Tool doesn’t make records to be on the radio and neither do we, they just focus on the music they love and they ask no forgiveness. We’ve had producers want to chop parts of songs off or tell us that the radio wants songs that are 3-4 minutes, and we kindly tell them that if our music gets on the radio then we must suck, because the radio sucks nowadays.
You are gearing up for the release of your self-titled album! How excited are you to get this project out into the world?!?
Very excited. We just want to hold our record up like Rafiki from the Lion King did with Simba for everyone in the pride land to see. “Nants ingonyama bagithi baba sithi uhm ingonyama Ingonyama” That’s the intro to Lion Kind by the way!

Can you tell us about what this album means to each of you?

This album is telling a story of many life experiences. For all of us this represents a time and place in life for us. We’ve lived these lyrics, lived these experiences and we think a lot of you have to, so this record should be able to connect with most humans.

Any fun moments while creating the album?
For us the fun happens when we are creating. If we aren’t having fun playing then why do it? This is what we love to do. The entire process was a joy for us.

What song are you most excited to perform from this new album?

Magic Man live always gets the crowd dancing and moving. It really get the show grooving.

What does it feel like to perform your own music live in front of your supporters?

There is nothing better than playing your music that you feel so passionate about and having people receive it and love it too! The most satisfying part of performing for supporters is hearing them sing the lyrics to you or watch it make someone dance or tap their foot.

Are you planning to tour to promote this album?
We are planning to hit Atlanta, New York, Austin, Nashville, and Bisbee, AZ. on our tour. We will add some more stops but those are the cities on the list so far.
You just announced your new single ““World Gone Mad” comes out soon. Can you spill any details on the new song?
It’s actually out on Spotify and everywhere else you stream and buy music from now. The song is a revolutionary anti war, pro peace song that comes rocking straight out of the gate, has a killer guitar solo from Casey Higgins, and ends with a beautiful ballad.
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?
Hopefully they will do just that….think.
How do you want your relationship to be with your supporters?

We want them to love the music like we do. To gain something from it. We hope we connect with them and let them know they aren’t alone in this world. We invite people of all walks of life to be apart of our music and movement. We love and want to reach out to everyone! We draw a diverse crowd of all backgrounds and beliefs. We have blue collar fans, bikers,  all races and nationalities, men, women, transsexuals, etc at our shows. We invite all humans. We do not discriminate and we appreciate and love everyone.

What was the craziest fan encounter you have had?

We’ve played some pretty seedy dive bars in our time. I’d have to say the time Robin put his guitar down to stop the cook at a dive bar from choking out one our fans. It was an interesting situation. The band kept the music going on and once he broke up the fight he resumed playing with the band.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your supporters?

Facebook and Instagram

Are there any other projects in the works you can tell us about?

We are making a few music videos for the upcoming record. We released one already for the song Magic Man, and are currently in the process of making one for our songs Mirror On The Wall and Promise Land. We are also gearing up to get back in the studio to start  tracking our follow up record as well.

Do you guys have any last things you want to tell your supporters?
Be kind, love people even when they don’t love themselves. Be the change you want to see in the world. Try to save a life a thousand years away, it starts with a change inside yourself.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to do this interview with us.
