River Mason Eromosele Chats With TMI About His new children’s book “The Sky Is The Limit”
Hey River, so excited to be chatting with you! You just released your new children’s book “The Sky Is The Limit” and it’s done amazing!! Did you ever think your book would be such a hit?
Hi guys! Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me. I was absolutely in shock that my book became such a big hit. This is our first children’s book and the success was hasty. The success of the children’s book has grown beyond my expectations.
What inspired you to write a book?
My mom, Pilar Scratch, inspired me to write the children’s book. My mom is it internationally best selling editor and author. The passion for writing runs in the family.I also was guided to write the book because I want other children to feel good about themselves and be taught how to make a change that’s positive in their lives.
Can you tell us how the book came about?
Yes! The book came about one day when we were sitting in our house and we were repeating our daily affirmations. I told my mom that I had the idea to teach other little kids like myself how to use affirmations and meditate. Once the idea originated we just put the plan into motion three months later we were distributing an internationally selling children’s book.
What is one book that has greatly influenced your life?
A book that greatly influence my life is a book that my dad reads to me at night it’s called “The Never Ending Story”. The book is vastly inspirational and influences my creative side by being an original timeless book. My father has been reading me the story since as long as I can remember.
Is there anyone you are dying to work/collaborate with on a book in the future?
Absolutely, I admire Jeff Kinney he’s the creator behind the diary of a wimpy kid. It’s on my bucket list to me and to work with him.
Do you have any other projects in the works you can tell us about?
I’m currently filming a doc you series for Amazon prime with my mom about our life. It was supposed to be out this spring however due to COVID-19 it’s been pushed out for a full release date.
If you could have a gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it — metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions — what would it say and why? (If helpful, it can be someone else’s quote: Are there any quotes you think of often or live your life by?)
My mom always has this “weakness is purely choice you could never fail if you never give up”. In this quote is like a second mantra to me in my daily life. It has help me through the troubles of third grade. So if I could place any quotation on any billboard I believe I will put that quote up there it’s very inspiring.
What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?
An usual habit that I have is watching fortnight on YouTube.. I love finding new ways to master the game.
What is your current go-to song?
My favorite song right now is Roddy Ricch the box.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in acting or writing? What advice should they ignore?
The advice I would give any expiring author or actor is Keep going, keep trying and never give up. Eventually all of the nose will turn into yeses.
I believe the device you should ignore it is to get realistic goals. Your dreams are realistic. They were given to you for a reason go after them.
When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?
When I feel unfocused I snap out of that emotion and continue to have tunnel vision. You sometimes have to turn off the noise of the outside world to truly capture your dream and fulfill it.
What social media platform do you use most?
Where can people find out what projects you have going on?
I utilize my Instagram the most @rivermason_

Any last things you’d like to tell your supporters?
