You are gearing up for the release of your new single “Little Ole Me”. How excited are you to finally get this single released?
I am very excited for the release of my new single. It’s been in the making for a while so I cannot wait to share it with everyone. I have worked really hard on this song, and so has everyone else that has worked on it, so I am definitely excited for people to hear it.
Tell us about the concept of the single 🙂
“Little Ole Me” is about a hard time I went through a few years ago. I felt like I was losing everything I worked really hard for, and me being me, I couldn’t let that happen so I wrote a song in response to it. This song really helped me get out of the rut I was in at the time, and I really hope it helps other people who are stuck like I was.
Will there be a music video for the new single?
I definitely would love to make a music video for such a personal song. I have a few ideas for it that I think would be great, but if there isn’t a music video for this single, there definitely will be one for an upcoming song.
What are your release plans for 2020? Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to?
There are exciting things coming up this year. We plan on having an EP, if not an entire album, out later in 2020, most likely in the fall of 2020, and there may be a music video in the works this year or next.
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
My fans have kept me motivated which allows me to accomplish my goals. Whenever I am going through a hard time, I know I have their support, and their support helps me to continue pushing forward.
What do you want your fans to take away from your music and live shows?
It’s really important that my fans relate to my music, that they feel a connection to my songs and to me. I want them to understand that they aren’t alone; other people have been through what they are going through and made it so they can too. I also want my fans to see that I have songs for any type of day, whatever they may be feeling, there is a song that they can relate to.
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
I am definitely dying to meet Ashley McBryde. I mention her all the time because she is an amazing storyteller and an amazing performer. She writes with such detail and sings with such conviction that she can make anyone believe everything she’s singing about. I would absolutely love to meet her.
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
Social Media is very important for connecting with fans. Without social media, it would be hard for fans to find out about upcoming shows, new music, and other projects in the making. It’s much easier to communicate with them via social media.
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
Thank you to all my supporters for the inspiration and motivation you have given me, and be sure to keep an eye out because 2020 is going to be a big year for my music!
