You just released your new music video for your single “Hopeless” and I love it! How excited are you to finally have this video out into the world?

I’m very excited. The feedback has been amazing and highly appreciated!

Can you tell us how this video came together?

It came together when I connected with Painfully Gifted Visuals. We wanted to amplify the emotions of the music with colorful lighting. The vibrant schemes lightened the darker elements of the music video.

How did the song come about?

It was around 4:30 a.m. during a studio session when I began feeling exhausted from the process of putting this project together. I started losing focus and felt hopeless.

I began thinking about my failures and missed opportunities throughout this journey, so I started putting everything into a rhyme in under a half hour.

Can you spill any hints on what your supporters can look forward to this year from you?!?

Sure. Music videos for each song off the project. A short film, merchandise, and new singles.

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

First and foremost, God and my family. I’d also like to thank Painfully Gifted Visuals because PC is like an older brother to me, and my close friend Jarred.

How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?

My fans are like family to me. They’re all self-made visionaries with empathy for others.

What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?

They believe in themselves as much as they believe in me.

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

Walk in your purpose regardless of what happens throughout your journey. I want my fans to use their hardships and failures as motivation to continue pursuing their goals. Never stop believing in yourself!

Are you planning any tours to meet your supporters?

Yes, definitely this summer.

Do you have any preshow rituals that help you get pumped up to meet your supporters?

Usually I pray, and watch past concert footage to remind myself of how far I’ve come.

What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?

A few things, but the most important would be to fall in love with the process of personal growth.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

I still listen to CDs, vinyl, and cassettes (if available).

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Inspirational.

Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you have you ever been starstruck?

Yes, it’s a funny story. In 2018, I saw Beanie Sigel (Jay Z’s former artist) at a fundraiser event. I was listening to a ton of his music during that time, so when I saw him I was surprised, but built up the courage to introduce myself.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Feel free to introduce yourself. I love meeting new people and connecting with those that support me.

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

Yeah, most definitely. Russ, Wale, and J. Cole are three that come to mind.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

It helps us interact with artists and individuals in the music industry.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

My biggest dreams are to secure a major recording label partnership and release a New York Times best selling book.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Thank you for your support. Embrace the process and live your truth. The world is waiting for your contributions.
