Hey Presley! So excited to be chatting with you! What led you to decide to try out for The Voice?
Hey! Thank you so much for chatting with me! Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to audition for the voice, I just never knew when it would be the right time. I seriously started to consider it once I was around 13 and knew I wanted to do it soon. A couple years passed and I had just turned 16 and I said to myself, this is the year I audition.
What was that whole experience like for you? What was it like being on Team Kelly?
“The Voice” was definitely the best experience. I’ve never felt more comfortable with complete strangers that ended up turning into what I consider family. I learned so much while I was there that really helped influence my sound today. Getting to be on Team Kelly was such an eye-opener and was definitely a starstruck moment for me as Kelly has been my idol since I started singing. She is an incredible person and I couldn’t be more grateful for ending up on her team.
What’s life been like after being on The Voice?
Life after The Voice has been equally crazy but in different ways. I was invited to perform at various country events and share the stage with artists such as Cody Johnson, Jake Owens, Chase Rice, Tim McGraw, John Michael Montgomery to name a few.
Do you have any release plans you can tell us about?
Im working on an EP currently so make sure to stay tuned for that later this year.
What do you want your fans to take away from your music?
I want my fans to know who I am from my music. I want to sing about things that are truthful to myself while also allowing others to relate.
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
Unconditional
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
I would love to get the chance to meet Clive Davis.
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
Social media is extremely important for artists such as myself for so many reasons. It allows us to keep people updated on what’s going on in our life, we’re able to grow our listeners and most importantly get to talk and connect to those who support us.
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
Thank you so much for supporting me on my journey in music. Im so grateful for those who have been with me and continue to stay with me through everything. Y’all are the best.
