Country music singer/songwriter Amy Jack is set to release a cheerful new song, “Cozy At Home” this Friday, January 13th, and Teen Music Insider has the exclusive first listen! The track is an ode to the wintertime, embracing spending time at home with loved ones and shielding away from the cold – because there’s no better place than being with the ones you love. With lyrics of love layered on top of a smooth acoustic track, “Cozy At Home” is for everyone as we can all appreciate staying cozy at home in the winter time and spending a little extra time with loved ones.

Jack’s music speaks to the masses, proven by a successful track record of power features. Most recently, on Christmas Day in December of 2022, Amy performed the National Anthem for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Arizona Cardinals game. Her song, “For The Love of the Game” was prominently featured on the 2016 U.S. Olympic Committee’s ‘Road to Rio’ Tour, in addition to a featurette for Kobe Bryant on FOX Sports and the ESPN Network during March Madness the same year. Her song, “Shake And Bake” was featured in a Fox Sports segment for NFL star and Heisman Trophy winner, Baker Mayfield. Fan-favorite track, “Born To Lead,” was featured as the soundtrack to the NCAA’s Lombardi Awards. Additionally, Jack’s track “Vegas Style” played during the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In 2022, Amy released a slew of new music including fan-favorite and inspirational tracks “LA’s Calling My Name” and “Let’s Go” along with “Stay Breezy Baby,” which received high praise from Country Sway for its “lighthearted and joyful melody.” She is currently gearing up to release more original music sure to connect with listeners around the world later this year.

What is “Cozy At Home” about, what does the song mean to you?

These last three years, all of us around the world have learned to appreciate being at home being safe and comfortable and warm, especially in the winter. To me, it’s a reminder to appreciate what it is that we do and have.

What do you hope listeners take away from the song?

I hope listeners take away that your own well being always comes first.

What was your experience like working and recording the song?

Dennis Morgan, a Grammy-award winning songwriter, co-wrote “Cozy at Home” — he’s known for the worldwide hit, “I Knew You Were Waiting” performed by Aretha Franklin. He’s also worked with other legendary artists and musicians including Faith Hill (“Let Me Let Go”) among others. Dennis did an incredible job with the song, along with my producer Billy Dawson, who got great players on this song. Fun fact, one of the musicians on the song played for Elvis!
