What do you hope your supporters will think of your new single?

I hope they can connect with the message of the song and feel energized by it. I hope it makes people want to dance.

Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?

Yes! This song is about the experience of pursuing another person, but not in a super serious way, in a live in the moment, roll with the punches kind of way. Of course there is always that hidden part of me that thinks maybe the “chase” of someone else could turn into something more, but at the same time, this song is to me the reminder that I am totally happy and confident in staying single and being an independent person.

Will there be a music video for the new single?

Oh yes. I have been filming music videos for everyone of my songs off my new EP “The Rise” with my lovely mother. The music video for “Mystery” will be coming out October 3rd. I can’t wait for people to see the little story I have crafted for the music video.

You also have more projects coming out in 2019!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to?!?

My EP “The Rise” is the main project I have coming out in 2019 which includes the two singles I am releasing “Mystery” this Friday September 27th and “God’s A Ghost” which will be released October 4th! The EP is 6 songs long and each song has a unique music video. The music videos will be coming out a week after each one of the singles and, then once the whole EP is released I will release the remaining music videos once a week until they are all out! Each music video has its own story line and unique characters that hopefully people can connect with.

What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?

It feels amazing! I have poured my heart, soul, time, energy, enthusiasm, and drive into the release of “The Rise” and this is absolutely a representation of me as an artist at this point in time. I love feeling boundless with my creations so I am excited for what is to come, but “The Rise” is my first EP where I feel completely behind and proud of my production and songwriting skills.

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

Yes! My family has been incredibly supportive and wonderful in helping me stay motivated and inspired. I also want to thank Daniel Loumpouridis for his production support and inspiration to always strive to release my best work.

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

My message to my fans is to feel alive with the music and dance like there is no tomorrow. I want my fans to walk away from listening to my music and going to my shows feeling like they’ve just gotten an energy rush and that they can do anything they set their minds to. I want my fans to feel limitless and free.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Energized.

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

Yes, someday I hope to be great friends with Diplo, I’m obsessed with Major Lazer, and love all the projects Diplo has been involved with. Mark Ronson is someone I’d also love to collaborate with in the future

I absolutely loved his production on Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ album and would love to make a project like that at some point.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

I think social media is a great way for fans to get to know artists from a personal standpoint. Personally I upload all sorts of ridiculous videos to my Insta-story just for fun, and I think a lot people like to see what artists are like just as people.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

My biggest goal right now is to make music my full time career. I want to start performing as much as possible once my EP is out and, I want to transition out of having a day job so I can pour myself into making music and art.

Do you have any other talents besides music?

I love to write, in particular I enjoy writing comedy and also motivational pieces. I love painting and drawing with pastels, I also love to make collages on photoshop. I really enjoy the creative process and I try to immerse myself in as many different mediums as I feel inspired to. I also love to dance, I took dance lessons from pre-school up through high school and one of my favorite parts of music is how it makes me want to dance.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

I can’t wait for us to dance at the next show!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this interview!!

Thank you!!
