Because I am getting so excited about meeting Matthew tomorrow, I thought I would write today’s blog post about his new campaign called #2BeSomebody.
Matthew has always been a kind of role model that wants his followers to believe in themselves and what they want to achieve in life. On a daily basis, he tells us how he wouldn’t be where he is today if it weren’t for us, as well as his hard work and dedication to what he believed in. His dedication to his passion is what has built his fame and fortune to where it is today.
Matthew will be starring in his first ever movie coming out on June 10th and he keeps thanking us fans for allowing him to get to this point in his life, but the truth is its his hard work that got him there. Us fans can just see something in Matthew that not a lot of YouTube stars have anymore. He wants to inspire and that’s what his new campaign is all about, inspiring us #2BeSomebody.
The #2BeSomebody campaign was inspired by Matthew’s Character, Jordan, in his new movie, Be Somebody. Matthew wrote in a tweet, “In my movie Be Somebody, my character Jordan meets someone who helps him discover who he truly wants to be. She inspires him to Be Somebody special and he inspires her to pursue her dreams.” Him explaining the point of the movie is kinda funny in a way because that’s how all of us fans feel like in real life. Matthew inspires us #2BeSomebody special and to look past the dark times.
Matthew then went on to say, “Help spread the word by sharing your story. Share a video, image or tweet using # (number 2) B-E-Somebody and let us know how you inspire others or how someone in your life inspires you to Be Somebody. I’ll share some of my favorites and those who really inspire me just might get something extra special. I look forward to reading your stories.”
With all this amazing stuff happening for him, it’s awesome to see that he still stays level headed and doesn’t become like most of the jerks out in the YouTube world today. He wants #2BeSomebody and all of us fans believe he has achieved that even if he doesn’t believe that himself. He believes in us and that’s all we need we need someone there to give us that extra push to follow our dreams!!
My #2BESomebody story is all about you guys. I started Teen Music Insider because I wanted the truth to be told not these lies a lot of adults – paparazzi – try to tell. And I wanted it to come from the fans like me! Fans are so loyal and I thought a fan site that fans could comment and tell there thoughts was a great idea that needed to be started. So I created Teen Music Insider 🙂 Right from the beginning I think both you guys and myself have created this bond that inspires us both. I get messages on Facebook almost everyday with people saying things like “Thank u so much for what u have done I can’t tell u how much I love Teen Music Insider!” and it literally makes my day. It inspires me to want to write better, post more, and even start a video blog, which if you knew me really well you would know I don’t like recording myself. I will admit I am very insecure in how I look, but you guys don’t care you guys inspire me to move past the insecurities and become the best me possible. On the flip side, I believe I inspire you guys to follow your dreams and not to listen to what everyone is telling you is the right thing thing to do. I try to tell you guys that it’s okay to take the path less traveled on because 9 out of 10 times you will come out bigger and better than you were before. And you might be asking how do you know this and it’s because I have gone through it. Adults all around me tell me tmi isn’t a career, you should be going to college not taking a year off, and so on and so forth. But I am here to tell everyone I believe in you guys like you guys believed in me from the start! And that’s my #2BESomebody Story!
