Hey Milli2nd and Sheeba! How excited are you that your new single is finally out into the world?

Milli2nd: We are very excited!! This is my first song!!

Where did the inspiration for the song come from?

Sheeba: I wrote it Pre-Halloween and it was 90 degrees outside and I was missing seasons! I’m from Chicago so living in Los Angeles does that to you! So I wanted to write a heartbreak song that reflects those sentiments and how people don’t change like seasons do. Along with adding my love for Christmas, Spring, Summer, Fall, baking…and the TV show Stranger Things.

Milli2nd: It’s a fun story, actually. I was listening to BTS at the time and decided to make a K Pop track. Sheeba came to me with the new song she wrote about seasons, and I realized that her song had exactly the same chords as the K Pop track I made. My friend Rea was there too, and we all started signing Sheeba’s lyrics over the track. They fit flawlessly.

Any fun moments while creating/recording the song?

Milli2nd: Sheeba, Rea and I wrote the song in 30 minutes, while getting ready for a party. I don’t think we ever made the song that fast. I guess we were excited because other people haven’t seen me yet. We wrote the song, got ready and left my place. And then we weren’t able to get in because the party was 21 and over. But at least we wrote a great song.

Sheeba: I loved being able to use each of our talents and create a song we all are proud of sharing. Rea brought her talents and made the song even better. It can be hard to find music connections and this one came easily.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

Milli2nd: I hope it brings them joy …a smile on their face when they hear it. And I hope they want to listen to it on repeat 🙂

Sheeba: I hope it makes them smile too! I know the Holidays can be tough for some people, so if our song can make them happy for 2.5 minutes, then we did a good thing and that makes me happy.

What’s the process of writing one of your songs?

Milli2nd: It’s always different. Usually my head starts flashing different words and then I just write them down and bang – a finished song.

Sheeba: It really is a natural process. I don’t force it. It just comes to me depending on my mood and what I’m going through. And then I record it on my handy dandy IPhone with the melody fresh in my mind.

Where did your love of music come from?

Milli2nd: Lady Gaga. This woman changed my life. Every musician and artist should read Letters To A Young Poet by R. M. Rilke.

Sheeba: I grew up singing in church in my teen years. But I also grew up in a home that would watch Bollywood movies and Christian network channels. So it was a fun mix of music from a young age.

Will there be a music video for your new single?

Mill2nd: Yes! We made a fun silly music video for Darling. I wanted everything that’s connected to this song to be made on my laptop. So we filmed the music video using my laptop camera. It’s a fun song and we wanted to just be our goofy selves.

Any other fun projects in the works you can tell us about?

Milli2nd: YES! A ton. I have a lot planned for the new year. Just getting started.

Sheeba: I have several songs I’m getting ready to release in 2020. I can’t wait.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected with you supporters?

Milli2nd: Tik Tok and Instagram

Sheeba: Instagram. And just started using Tik Tok.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your supporters have allowed you to accomplish?

Mill2nd: joy

Sheeba: happiness!

Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Milli2nd: Just keep going. Figure out your goals and then work EVERY DAY towards them. And learn. It has never been easier to learn. So go and learn something new.

Sheeba: Don’t ever let anyone dull your sparkle. Be yourself and don’t give up on your dreams!
