Hey Marzboygenius! So excited to be chatting with you! Can you tell us what it’s like having your hip hop career launched by NOISE?
Having a career really funded by the good people at NOISE is great. shoutouts to Joe Laresca, Jesse Clemente and Maria Riordan.
Your debut single “Broken Hearts” is being released in a few weeks! How excited are you for all your supporters to hear your new song?!? & What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?
I’m very excited for ‘Broken Hearts’ I feel like my supporters will love it.
Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?
The backstory of the song [Broken Hearts] is that I had some friends and when things kind of ended I had a broken heart about the whole situation.
You also have more music coming out in 2019!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to next year?!?
I can’t spill the beans yet but some great things are coming.
Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?
I have all creative say in my music, I produce and write/freestyle all of it.
What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?
It’s a great feeling to release your own art.
Are you releasing a music video along with your new single? If so, Can you tell us about the concept of the music video?
There’s a video I can’t speak on it…it’s in the works right now but I can’t speak much on it.
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
My pops taught me how to produce so I thank him.
How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?
I describe my supporters as supportive, thoughtful, and genius.
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
Be yourself and have fun.
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
Just say wassup marzboyg no marz boy not just marz and don’t say my real name unless I’m close to you for-real lol.
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
I’m dying to meet Frank Ocean and Pharrell Williams two of my favorite creatives.
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
Social media gives you a platform before the money and it’s easy to get noticed on it, that’s the best part.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
My biggest dream is to create my own sound and lane with my genre hybrid-pop.
