You are definitely a triple threat, you sing, model, and act. What inspired you to pursue all these amazing things?

When I was very young, I was a fan of Mary Poppins, Annie, and others. I then started watching television shows, such as Shake it Up on Disney and Victorious on Nickelodeon. This is where I saw the performers sing, dance and act and I knew that was what I wanted to pursue.

You are well known for your role on the popular Disney series “Bizaardvark”. Can you explain the process of how you got this role?

I was very fortunate for opportunity to audition for the role of Savannah, it was my first theatrical audition for a major project. I instantly fell in love with the character and auditioned the next day. Two days later, while I was in NY, I got the call I had booked it and needed to return to LA the next day. Let’s just say, it was an amazing experience!

Can you explain the character you portray?

Savannah, was a girl who loved science and especially crickets. She was not concerned of winning the science project contest, but the opportunity to present her project and research about crickets. When Paige and Frankie offer their ideas on how to win the science fair, Savannah goes along with them but soon realizes that she would prefer to not win and convinces Paige and Frankie that she doesn’t care if she wins but just loves science.

What was your favorite part about being on set?

My favorite part was connecting with my castmates and bringing my character to life. Oh yeah, the craft services were really good too!

What was your reaction like when you learned you won a Young Entertainer Award for your large guest star role on Bizaardvark?

I was very honored when they called my name at the YEA awards. I was among such a talented group of performers and was completely shocked. I was very appreciative of the YEA board and thankful to Disney for the opportunity.

Can you spill any details on what the supporters can look forward to from you?

What do you hope to gain out of your career?

I do hope to inspire others to dream big, live out your passions and just be yourself. I am continually learning daily and there is never a day that I am not up for the challenge….enjoy the journey and embrace each opportunity!

Are you planning on touring or doing any shows anytime soon?

I have a couple of goals in the next couple of years, but currently no tours scheduled.

Are there any other fun projects in the works you can tell us about?

Yes I am looking forward to visiting some schools this year as the “Child Support Film” is sharing its anti-bullying message around the nation. It is important we have the discussions and bring awareness to all.

You have also created a huge social media presence for yourself. Why do you think social media is so important for teen actors today?

This is a very big topic and since I am only 9, I am limited to my time on social media. I do read all my comments, respond and engage with my friends on social media as much as I can. Connecting with like minded people is my biggest reason for having a social media presence. I have been very grateful to those who have wanted to collaborate and work together…I am a believer that together we can make a difference and social media is a place for numbers to make that happen.

How do you want your relationship to be with your fans?

Yes, I am very real honest with my friends/fans. I do like to show them a 9 year old striving to pursue her dreams but also I love to support my friends, our communities, and lift others up.

What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your fans?

I find Instagram to be where I spend most of my time. However, I do find I connect with different friends on Twitter, Facebook, You Tube and TicTok!

Does your fan base have a name?

Not at this time that I am aware of…maybe I should take ideas? J

What was the craziest fan encounter you have had?

I tend to not experience this very much at all, but I did meet someone at an event that asked me to prove I was JordynJ

You also created your own amazing charity organization – Jordyn’s Joy. How did you become involved with this amazing project?

Jordyn’s Joy was established when I was an infant and my family started with yearly toy drives and as I grew, I have embraced the mission of Friend’s helping Friend’s with Food Drives, Book Drives, and community involvement. Making a difference in someone else’s life is a true passion of mine…together we can Make a Change.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

I am so thankful for everyone’s support and continuous words of encouragement. I am a big believer that things happen for a reason and as long as we are true to ourselves, we can live our greatest lives. We are all human and reaching out to one another is important…lifting each other up should be our daily goal! Oh and I am not a fan of chocolate and Steak is my favorite foodJ Thank YOU for sharing this journey with me!! Hugs- Jordyn
