Hey Jenna! So excited to be chatting with you again! You just released your new single “16”!! How excited are you that this song is finally out into the world?

I am thrilled, it has been 6 months since my last song release.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song

I hope they will enjoy it and it brightens there day.  Additionally, I hope they can relate to the storyline of the song.

Can you tell us the backstory of this song? Is it from a real experience?

This song is not from a real experience of my own nor a friend, but rather a topic that I think all young girls dream about experiencing one day.

You also have more music coming out in 2020!! Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to from you the rest of the year?!?

Yes, I do have more music coming out and it is also pop country, it might have ties to an experience of mine.

Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?

I have written all the songs on my own until this one, which was a collab with two veteran song writers in Nashville.  I have total control of the result and had many parts of this song pre-written before I got to Nashville.

What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?

This has been a dream of mine for quite sometime and it is an awesome feeling.  I love sharing my stories through music and very blessed to do so.

Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video?

Yes, the video was released the same day on YouTube, I encourage all my fans to check it out.  The video takes the storyline and brings it to live with visuals of what the song embodies.

What’s been the pros and cons of pursuing your music career?

The music industry is tricky and there is so much to learn.  It is hard to know what the right path is and seems it is different for everyone.  So, I just focus on song writing, singing and expressing myself, thoughts and ideas in a way that I hope fans will relate to and thoroughly enjoy.

Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?

Absolutely, first off I would like to thank my parents, they have been so supportive of me pursuing my dreams and encouraging me to achieve my goals.  Next I would like to thank my friends that are there to constantly cheer me on.  And last but definitely not least, I am so grateful for all my supporters, it means the world to me to have people sing along to my music and continue to support my journey as I grow as an artist.

What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?

I am not really sure, what I can say is my fans tend to be loyal, positive and support me in music, acting and as an influencer.

How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?

Kind, passionate, loving

What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?

I hope my music and performance bring joy to their lives and can help them navigate life experiences that we all deal with.

Are you planning any IG Live shows to promote your new music?

Not at this time, but I do plan on sharing my songs in person in the spring by joining a tour.

What is it like performing in front of your fans? Are you excited to start performing your own music live!?!

I have actually had the opportunity to sing in front of my fans, it is one of the most magical and best feelings in my lift.  Some of my happiest memories tied to music are connected to me being on stage sharing my music live with my fans.

What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?

We need to be positive and uplifting to all people.  We need to have faith and confidence in ourselves because god is within us.

What’s something your fans don’t know about you?

For a short period of time I had to wear flippers (fake teeth) while I was filming Chicken Girls and another movie.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Dreams

What do your fans call themselves? And How did that fanbase name catch on?

When I was younger Jenna Corns caught on, however as I grew older I discontinued that.  At this time I don’t have one.

Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you! Have you ever been starstruck?

No, I have not been starstruck.  Being in LA I have met some stars which was a fun experience.

What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?

Say hi and don’t be shy, I am just a normal teen.

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

There are so many I would like to meet, it is hard to pick just one.  But if forced to pick one then it would be Taylor Swift, Kelsea Ballerini, or Casey Musgraves

What’s your current go-to song?

Hey There Delilah and Miss You More

Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists like yourself?

It is an excellent way to get your music out to many people in many countries.  It also gives you a platform to share who you are and brighten people’s days.

What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?

Hope to sign a record deal with a company that soulfully believes in me and my music.  Also, I would like to be a lead in a show.

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Dream big and never let rejection stop you.

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions 🙂
