Hey Gianna!! So excited to be chatting with you. How have you been during this crazy time? Can you spill any fun tips to keep your supporters happy and productive during this time at home?
Hey, I have been pretty good honestly! During this tragic time I’ve tried to see the positive in getting this time to reset, refocus, and spend time with my loved ones. Some of the things I would recommend to stay busy and positive are practicing meditation, starting a bullet journal, watching great movies, playing lots of board games (my favs are progressive rummy and clue) and just take time to do things that make yourself happy!
You just released your new single “Bitter”!! Can you tell us what this song means to you?
This song is really special to me because it’s very true and personal. It’s more than just a song, it’s a story of growing up and realizing that love isn’t like the movies and fairytales you see when you’re young. It’s a lot harder than it seems! I just hope it’s relatable and allows people to feel something when they hear it.
How excited are you to get this single out into the world?
I am so excited to have it out in the world, it’s always a rush of adrenaline when you finally share a new song you love and put it out there so I’m just really happy to have other people hear this story and enjoy it!
Do you have any other release plans for the summer?
Yes actually, I have been releasing a new song on the 20th of every month because it’s 2020 and I’m 20 years old. So every month you can expect a new song for the whole year!
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?
I guess I just hope it’s something they relate to and that touches their hearts. My biggest hope as a writer and artist is to make my audience feel something when they listen to my music. We all have those artists and songs that make us happy, sad, excited or safe or all of the above and to be that for someone Is the dream!
How do you want your relationship to be like with your supporters?
I want it to be amazing of course! All of my supporters mean the world and more to me, so I hope to always have an accessible relationship with them and make them feel like I’m not just some artist they hear, but a friend that through music is always there!
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
My fans may not know that I LOVE food and sometimes lean towards stuff that’s not so healthy… I eat cookie dough as a snack constantly haha
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
If you ever see me in public don’t ever hesitate to come say hello, meeting you and getting to know you is one of the most amazing things in the world so yes, say hey and share you light and smiles and laughs!
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
I want my fans to take away that they can feel safe and understand that music is the most connecting thing in the world that we can all turn to when we need it & I just want them to feel related to and not alone through each song.
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
My fans have allowed me to always make music that I love and is important to me because they are so open and accepting to everything I put out no matter what!
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
I think social media is extremely important because it’s a way to keep your fans constantly updated on all you’re working on and up to, as well as acting as a line of communication to interact with them!
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
My biggest dream and goal in summation is to be successful doing what I love to do everyday.
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
I want to tell them that their support and love is irreplaceable and they are the reason I am able to do what I do! New music every month just for your beautiful selves! Also to STAY safe & healthy during this crazy time
