On October 23rd, I attended the Skechers Friendship Walk and had the opportunity to interview a few of the attendees including former Dance Moms & Raising Asia star, Asia Monet Ray. I got to interview Asia right after her amazing performance of Rise, by Katy Perry, and the National Anthem. You could definitely tell Asia was on a performance high after her incredible performance, which made for a great interview. In this interview, Asia tells me she didn’t want to be known only as the reality tv star. She also tells me about her time on Dance Moms and how its helped and hurt her in her career. She goes on to tell me why she started singing and acting in the first place and how its helped having these back up plans in place.
