Hey Sarah!! We are so excited to be premiering your new album!!! Can you tell us what this album means to you?
My new single, “Get Lost in Some Rock ‘N Roll” is very special to me because it can take people back in time to being in the middle of nowhere with a loved one and just getting lost in those familiar songs we all know and love. And getting lost in music is something we all do when we want to feel better too.
What’s been your reaction to the fans anticipation for your new album?
I’ve received a lot of excitement for this new single so far. I think it’s because a lot of people can relate to the title. I let one fan have a preview of the song before anyone else and he loved it!
How excited are you to get this song out into the world?
So excited! I can’t wait for everyone to hear it, and I think it’s the perfect song to take us into fall.
Do you have any other release plans for 2020?
I do! I haven’t announced it yet, but you can definitely expect a surprise from me around the holidays 😉
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new music?
I hope the new single takes them back to a place in time where they just got lost in music with a loved one. I love how music is so universal and has that hold and effect on everyone.
How do you want your relationship to be like with your supporters?
I want my supporters to always see how much I appreciate them! My fans are the reason I do music, so I always want to show them how grateful I am in return for their support.
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
I’m a HUGE football fan being from Birmingham, AL and Knoxville, TN. I love both college teams and usually do two NFL football fantasy leagues every year!
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
I think of myself as an approachable person, so hopefully they will say hi!
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
My mission statement has always been to heal others with my music, so I want fans to take what they want from my music, and hopefully I can help them in some way with my music. If they see me at a show, I just want them to leave feeling happy or feeling like they heard a song that is relatable to what they are going through.
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
Bliss
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to work with?
Natalie Maines, always.
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
It’s so important for independent artists because it is the source of promotion for us. Especially in this technology driven world we are in right now.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
To take my music to the next level and become recognized by the major labels as well as becoming more involved in the sync world
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
Thank you for always supporting my music! You are the reason I do this!
Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us!!
