How did the concept of the video come about?
We were working on another project and across the street, we saw a beautiful property with a big red barn, fields, a little farmhouse, and a treehouse. I fell in love with it. I knew this was the perfect place for Stuck in the Clouds. I am a big country fan and I have always loved farms. The thought of being able to do a video there was so exciting, and I just had to do it.
Any funny moments while filming the video?
One of the videographers was flying the drone to get a video of me walking near the picket fence. After getting the shot, he was trying to land the drone, and it ran into the tree. We all freaked out but then he landed it safely.
Any other release plans for 2020? Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to?
I am planning on releasing an EP and I am very excited about it. I have sung a few of these songs on live streams, so if you ever are watching one of my live streams see if you can catch me singing one. One of the songs that will be on the EP references a classic book.
What is one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
If there was one word that I would use I would say grateful. I feel so blessed and lucky to have them by my side.
What do you want your fans to take away from your new single?
When I was writing this song I was going through a harder time and if you listen to the first line it says “Sometimes people don’t understand how hard it is to grow up.” I think that my fans could relate to this because sometimes people don’t understand what kids my age go through or people any age go through. The whole message I’m trying to get across is that sometimes it gets hard and you feel like the dream you have had forever won’t happen. However, when you see your future you will see that you can get through it and that you can fight through your hardships to achieve your goals. I also think this can relate to the current situation in the world right now.
Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?
I think social media is important for artists because it gives us the opportunity to put our music out into the world and share our music with others and our fans. It also gives us the opportunity to connect with our fans and to talk to them.
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
I would like to thank everyone who has been there along my journey so far and everyone who will be there for me in the future. I can’t thank you guys enough for all of your support. I couldn’t have done it without y’all.
