Hey Autumn! So excited to be chatting with you! Your new electropop album “HERE AND NOW” was highly anticipated by your fans. How excited are you that it’s is finally out?

Beyond happy my album is out! We created so much magic in the music, and I’m so stoked to be sharing this higher message with the world.

You released your album “HERE AND NOW” back in November with a live performance at Warwick in Los Angeles. What was that experience like?

Releasing my electropop album, “HERE AND NOW” at Warwick in LA has to be my proudest career moment thus far. I poured my heart and soul into my new album, so to have it finished and out there for the world to experience is a dream come true. I come alive when I perform, and the stage is where I feel most at home. The whole performance was surreal, and seeing so many people dancing and singing along to the songs gave me full-body chills. I wouldn’t be where I am in my career without the support of my fans, and I am so grateful for each and every one of them.

Can you tell us the backstory of this album? Tell us about the concept of the album – we love it!

My album “Here and Now” is a feel good album with a dance music vibe and dreamy pop melodies. I wanted to create an album that symbolizes everything it means to be in the here and now. It tells many stories and takes you on a journey. It’s celebrating life but also showing my vulnerability and emotion. I’m an extremely positive artist but have also experienced a lot of heartbreak, loss, and pain. This album represents me overcoming it all and moving forward.

You’re currently back on tour. What do you want your fans to take away from your music and live shows?

I want my fans to take away inspiration, empowerment, and a good time! Our live shows are a place for fans to let go, have fun, cry, laugh, and do whatever they feel inclined to do.

Be free! I’ve been getting so many wonderful messages from fans telling me how my music has impacted their life. That’s my goal right there: To spread love and be making a difference in people’s lives.

What was it like performing at the Troubadour to kick of your tour?

The Troubadour was an epic night! Incredible history at that venue. So many legends have performed on that stage. When I walked into the venue for sound check, I could feel that energy instantly. It felt amazing to rock out on the stage, and my band kicked ass. Shout out to my bass player Curt Hovland and Drummer Cain Daniel. Perfect way to kick off our 2020 tour. Tour dates coming soon.

You also were on the January 2020 cover of LA Weekly!! What was it like gaining this huge accomplishment?

It’s amazing!! So proud of that moment. Dream come true. Growing up in LA I always loved that magazine. To get the cover is next level. This year is off to an incredible start, and my heart is so grateful. This is just the beginning.

What are your release plans for 2020? Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to?

I’ll be releasing more new music in the next couple months, and we are currently confirming our tour schedule. Our next tour date will be in Nashville, Music City. I will also be shooting more music videos this year. Excited to explore the right film and TV acting projects as well. It’s going to continue to be a very busy year.

What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?

Joy!

Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?

Lady Gaga. I love her voice and artistry. Authentic and powerful.

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

Social media has been such a blessing. It has allowed me to connect with new fans all across the world. It’s one of the biggest platforms to express yourself as an artist and share the latest news. You can follow me on Instagram @autumnknight_

Any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Be kind to one another and always be authentic. Thanks for listening to my music and coming out to the live shows! We can’t wait to be touring all across the world. See you out there.
