You knew you wanted to be on stage since the young age of 5. What would you say brought on your passion for entertaining at such a young age?

I tried every sport there was and was bored.  My kindergarten teacher suggested trying a local theater company “Star Struck” in Stuart Fl, it was love at first song.  Everyone there was always so happy and no one ever wanted to leave.  They made it fun to perform while teaching us what it takes to be successful in this business.

What is one movie that has greatly influenced your life?

The matrix! The film greatly introduced me to a complex story line and set my love for films into motion

What has been your favorite acting role to date? and why?

“Phillip” in “Song of the tree frogs” it was a challenging role and I loved every second.  The story deals with abuse and forgiveness it is a powerful message of hope.

What would be your dream acting role?

I’m not crazy, I swear! But I’d love to play a psychotic serial killer! It just seems like a fun role to play and really challenging which I love!

Is there anyone you are dying to work/collaborate with on acting or singing?

YES! I would love to work with Jon Bernthal! I love his acting and the roles he plays are always awesome

Do you have any projects in the works you can tell us about?

18 to party was a feature film I was in. We’ve already had pre-screens so the final film should be done soon. Also the song of the tree frogs is finishing up soon hopefully!

If you could have a gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it — metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions — what would it say and why? (If helpful, it can be someone else’s quote: Are there any quotes you think of often or live your life by?)

My current quote is a loose translation of an Irving Berlin quote “During the pursuit of happiness, sometimes we should just settle down and be happy”. This means that we chase our dreams, thinking it’ll make us happy… but sometimes we should really just chill out and actually do something that makes us happy.

What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?

I love cars and working on them, I also love to go fishing!

What is your current go-to song?

“Come back” from the musical dogfight. The lyrics really move me and the way he sings it with all of his emotion is something truly amazing.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in acting or singing? What advice should they ignore?

I’ll start by saying ignore anyone who says that “I can make you a star!”. News flash: They can’t. Only YOU can make YOU a star. You have to work hard and train hard and most importantly, be kind to everyone around you. You never know when you might be sitting next to a producer on a train.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?

This usually isn’t a problem for me. I’m really good at keeping a calm head and that is extremely important when being an actor.

What social media platform do you use most? Where can people find out what projects you have going on?

I am most active on Instagram which you can find at @erich.schuett and also youtube. That’s where you can find the most up to date info with me and my projects

Any last things you’d like to tell your supporters?

I’d love to tell all of my supporters THANK YOU! You are all the reason I’m doing this. If no one supported me, then I would have no reason to continue, so THANK YOU SO MUCH! You all mean so so so much to me!
