Hey Dina! So excited to be talking with you. Can you tell us what you’ve been up to over the past few months?

I’ve been performing all over LA and working on new music in the studio pretty much everyday-I’ve been feeling really creative over the last few months. I’ll literally write songs in my car as I’m driving.

That’s so cool!! You have definitely been busy and I can’t wait to see all that you have in store. Like you are gearing up for the release of your next single “What I’m Not Gonna Do” ? How excited are you to get this song out into the world?

I’m so excited-It’s a fun summer song that’s all about empowerment and going after what you deserve.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song?

I hope they play it on repeat and the message inspires them to know their worth!

Can you tell us how “What I’m Not Gonna Do” came about?

I had been going back to a guy who was not treating me very good and it was honestly my first instinct when I got in the studio that day. I said “What if the song is just about getting out of a bad relationship?”

Any fun moments while creating the song?

I loved working with Brooke Williams who is an amazing pop artist herself. She and I worked so well together and literally wrote the song in 45 mins because we vibed so well. Also my producer Aj afterparty helped me get a different more “me” sound then I’ve had before on my other releases.

What’s your process of choosing a song to record?

I write songs everyday so it’s really about picking the one that fits or feels right with the production and also one I want to invest in. I have a few right now I can’t wait to record.

Are you making a music video for “What I’m Not Gonna Do”?

Yes! It’s going to be really fun and girly but also quirky. I want it to be sort of funny because I’m way weirder than I might seem in photos. The world needs to know that. Lol

Will there be an EP/Album out soon?

I would love to release both but as an indie artist I will focus on individual singles until I get a recording contract.

Are there any other fun projects in the works you guys can tell us about?

I’m excited to create my own merchandise in the future since I love fashion so much. Also just excited for upcoming shows all over LA.

Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?

Just to have this opportunity to have my music heard is a dream come true. I grew up extremely shy and never believed in myself. I remember being 13 and having this epiphany reading a self help book that I wasn’t in fact supposed to hate myself. I had never realized that and everything changed from that moment on. I just hope I can help inspire teens to love themselves and to go after their dreams no matter what anyone tells them.
