Hey Dallin! So excited to be chatting with you! Where did your love for music come from?
My love for music kind of came all at once. I used to hate music, but one time when I was 12 I was super stressed and music helped me through that.
Do you have any music in the works you can tell us about?
I have a new song coming out on June 12th that’s half in English and half in German. I’ve actually got about 4 songs completely recorded and ready to release. The past 8 singles have all been a slow release of a 10 song album that I’ve had planned from the beginning . After this next release on June 12th, I’ll be releasing all of the singles together on an album with 2 bonus tracks.
Do you have a creative say in your music? Did you help write all your new songs?
I write all of my own songs and I work side by side with my producer and I play all of the instruments in my songs through the keyboard.
What’s it feel like to be releasing your own original music?
I’ve always loved releasing original music, it’s always interesting to hear how each song touches different people differently.
Will there be a music video for your new single? If so, can you tell us about the concept of the video 🙂
There will be a music video for Party On My Own. throughout the music video we’re going to be showing our favorite tiktok’s and videos that fans have made of themselves “Partying on their Own” during social distancing.
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
I definitely have to thank my producer, Austin Celaya (AKA Azure Blu), my Mom for helping me become the kind of person I am today, and I would be lying if I didn’t say that God has definitely had His hand in every part of it, so definitely God as well.
What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?
My Fans are honestly some of the most amazing people ever i love them all. One thing that makes my Fandom different is that I know almost every single one of them and they know me. One of the most important things to me is that I don’t want “Fans” or “Followers”, I want Friends and Family. And one of my favorite things in the world is meeting new people.
How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?
Hmmm, 3 words that describe my fans Honest (just super real, down to earth people
), Hilarious
, and Loyal.
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
The most important thing to me throughout all stages of writing, producing, and performing my music is that people can feel something that they never have before. Emotions Can change people so much more than any words or notes ever could. And I’ve seen so many of my fans change for the better and just become some of the sweetest most amazing people that i know.
Are you planning any livestream shows to promote your new music?
For the most part I do about 1-2 Instagram Lives every week to get to know my fans even better and to play everyone some of my newer songs and some of the older ones that I haven’t recorded yet. At this point I’ve written over 120 songs both for myself and for others.
What is it like performing in front of your fans? Are you excited to start performing your own music live!?!
Honestly, performing has always been one of my favorite thing. Feelings are definitely contagious, like how when you walk into a room you can feel the tension, or when somebody is about to laugh you can feel that even if they’re not showing it. I love being in the same room with all of my fans, because through the recordings Fans Can feel what I the music makes me feel, but only when I’m in the same room with them Can I feel what the music makes THEM feel, which is the most important for me.
What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?
I want my supporters to know that THEY are sooo so important to me. I want them all to be happy and I want to be able to help them with absolutely anything in their lives, and I hope that my music can help with that.
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
Hmmmm, something Fans don’t know about me haha most of them don’t know that I’ve struggled with a Mosquito Disease called Chikungunya for the past 4 and a half years.
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
Joy
With an already massive fanbase your fans must they have a name for themselves. What do your fans call themselves? And How did that fanbase name catch on?
Haha there have been a few names that my fans have suggested and some of them have started using. 2 of them were because of what my sisters used to call me when I was younger. One is Dallerina and the other is Dallybois, but I’m sure that one day there will be a name going around involving Brian the Llama who appears with me in almost all my videos.
Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you Have you ever been starstruck?
Ive worked with a lot of bigger artists, and so far I haven’t really been star struck by anybody. I’ve realized that everyone’s just like me, and really just want true genuine friends.
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
If my fans ever see me in public I want them to do that they shouldn’t be afraid to come talk to me and give me a hug, i love them all and I’d love to see them all in person someday.
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
Im definitely dying to meet Shawn Mendes, Jon Bellion, and Tori Kelly. I would absolutely love to work with all of them.
Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists like yourself?
Honestly, now is a better time than ever before to collaborate with people, Social Media has made it possible to connect with so many people and reach out to basically anyone that you want to. Social media helps so much more when you start using it less for Followings and popularity, and more for connections and reach.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
My biggest dream goal is to write a song in every major influential language and one day I’ll do it, it might take me a whole decade or more, but I’ll try.
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
The last thing I’d say to my supporters is just that I love them
