How excited are you to finally have this new song out into the world?
I am super excited to have the song out to the world. It’s been in the bank for a while and it’s been one of my favourite songs and one of the ones I’m most proud of so it’s definitely a thrill to have it released!
Can you tell us how this song came together?
I was scrolling on YouTube and I came across this beat. The beat I used for this song. It was such a fire track, the lyrics just came to me! I was sort of on a YNW Melly vibe so I got some inspiration from that. But I wrote the lyrics to the beat I chose and hit up the studio to record it!
Can you spill any details on what your supporters can look forward to this year?!?
Some things my supporters can look forward to this year are lots of Cdot music dropping. I want to share all my fire songs with the world because I believe they’re really good and I’m dying for my supporters to hear.
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
I want to thank my parents. Without their support and dedication to my career, I literally wouldn’t be where I am today so I just want to give a huge thank you to them.
You’re no stranger to the entertainment industry, A child actor with notable roles on Paw Patrol, Odd Squad, a Disney pilot and more, how was that different from music?
Yes I started acting at the age of 7, acting can be a lot of fun and you meet really cool people, I was fortunate enough to land some pretty cool roles and work with some amazing actors like Jenna Ortega, Malachi Barton, Liam Hemsworth Anna Cathcart and so many more. But it was not my mine, music is different because I write all my songs, based on my life experiences or what I vision my life to be one day. As an Indie Artist no one is telling me how or what to do, its my art.
How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?

My fan community is different than others because it isn’t just a fan to icon relationship it’s a family. My fans are family and a blessing to me because without them I wouldn’t be getting anywhere.
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
I want my fans to know that I make music as a way to spread positive vibes in the world using my favourite art form!
Are you planning any tours to meet your supporters?
I’m currently not planning any tours but I hope to change that in the near future.
Do you have any pre show rituals that help you get pumped up to meet your supporters?
I give myself a mini pep talk. I remind myself how thankful I am for everything that I have and that I’m going to own it, no questions asked.
What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?
I want my supporters to know that if they are ever going through a tough time, just keep pushing because it will eventually get better and this is important because a lot of people go through things and don’t tell anyone. It’s okay to talk to people about things you feel uncomfortable about. Sometimes it feels relieving to let it all out.
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
Something my fans may not know about me is that I’m a germaphobe for food. If anyone touches, burps, sneezes or breathes on my food they can have it. I can’t eat food that others have done something to.
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
One word I would use to describe what my fans have allowed me to accomplish is blessed. I’m blessed that my fans took the chance on me to listen to my music and I really appreciate all the love and support they give me so thank y’all!
With an already massive fanbase your fans must they have a name for themselves. What do your fans call themselves? And How did that fanbase name catch on?
My fans are called day ones. This name caught on from a previous song I released actually called day ones! So I started to call my supporters day ones because they’ve been supporting me since day one.
Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you Have you ever been starstruck?
I’ve been star stuck before when I met Shaquille O’neal! I was at the Hall of game induction ceremony and I asked to take a picture with him and I was trying to take a selfie but he was too tall. He took my phone and took the picture for us. I was so nervous but it was hands down one of the best moments in my life.
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
I want my fans to know they don’t have to be shy. It’s just Cdot. They can come talk to me, take a picture, ask a question. I’m a pretty down to earth person.
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
Yes, I’d really like to meet some of my favourite rap artists like lil tecca, drake, Quavo and da baby. It would also be cool to meet some local Toronto rappers like Houdini, Casper TNG and Pressa.
Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists like yourself?
Social media is so important for teen artists because that’s what we are all on today. We live in a society that is social media driven so we need to utilize that to promote our talent.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
My biggest goal right now is to get a song on the billboard hot 100. That would be the most dope thing ever! However, for my end goal I’d like to have won a Grammy when it’s all said and done.
Any last things you want to tell your supporters?
I really appreciate all the support I’ve gotten and continue to get. I love all my day ones. I wouldn’t be anything if it weren’t for them. I want them to continue to stream my music so we can grow the Cdot family! Counting the Days, my new single is out right now and Swear we was Chillin Dropping Feb 12 , so run them numbers up!
