Hey Brent, so excited to be chatting with you! What would you say brought on your passion for acting at such a young age?

Well since I started when I was 4 my mother introduced me to acting and I’ve loved it ever since.

You are best known for your role as young Jeff in ABC’s Community. What was that role like for you?

Working as younger Jeff on ABC’s community was an awesome experience I think it was one of the first sets I had been on in my young career.  In Beginners Pottery, I was on set with the awesome Ken Jeung.  Even though we were not in the same scene, he came to talk to mom and I and was so nice.  We didn’t know who he was at the time but production told us he was a huge hit in Hollywood with several projects in the works.  I wish I knew where the picture production took of us went?

Did you learn anything from the other actors on the show?

Yes, I got to learn about different pacing for shows and movies. It was interesting to see how shows had pacing one way and movies had a different style.

What is one movie that has greatly influenced your life?

Picking one movie is pretty hard for me but I think I would have to say the 1980’s movie Top Gun really speaks to me about action and drama I love the effects and the edge of your seat feeling through out the movie, i’d love to have a role like that.

What has been your favorite acting role to date?

My favorite role is Joe from Hunters anthology Joe Is a bully and i enjoyed exploring the other side for a day.

What would be your dream acting role?

My dreams always follow the line of action and adventure. I would love to be on a marvel set or work a war movie that would be awesome.

Do you have any projects in the works you can tell us about?

Yes I excited to share that Hunters Anthology will be streaming this fall.  My episode is “You Can’t unwish a wish”.  I play a bully and then another character that is a surprise.  You have to watch!  Water Dawg is in post-production and may be out this year as well.  If all goes well with this covid situation, I am supposed to go to the East Coast in August to film a feature film called Power Child.

If you could have a gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it — metaphorically speaking, getting a message out to millions or billions — what would it say and why? (If helpful, it can be someone else’s quote: Are there any quotes you think of often or live your life by?)

Let’s protect Mother Earth.  I am a nature and animal lover and I hate to see trash on roads and in the ocean.  Whenever I see some, I pick it up and put it where it belongs.  Wish others would do the same.  Better yet… just don’t throw it on the ground!

What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love?

An absurd thing I love would probably be Airsoft, people don’t understand why anyone would want to get shot by little bb’s but its the camaraderie of the team that is my favorite part.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in acting? What advice should they ignore?

Just go for it try your hardest that all thats involved if you really love something it will work out.

When you feel overwhelmed or unfocused, or have lost your focus temporarily, what do you do?

I listen to motivational videos, there are people out there working very hard and I know I can work as hard as them if i put my mind to it.

What social media platform do you use most? Where can people find out what projects you have going on?

You can find me on Instagram (officialbrenta) Twitter (officialbrenta) Facebook (officialbrenta) Linkedin (Brent Anthony)

Any last things you’d like to tell your supporters?

I’m very grateful to the team that I have.  My publicist- Sherry Kilpatrick from GTK PR, My Manager- Daniel Rojo from Rojo Management, my Agent- Leigh Keen from Sovereign Talent and of course my mom for all the love and support they give to me. I also appreciate my followers who are always so positive and motivating.
