Hey Carvi, so excited to be chatting with you. What inspired you to pursue music?
I’m excited to be chatting with you! Music is something I can’t live without. What inspired me in the beginning was grandfather and his love for music. Later/ now everything around me inspires me… from my dogs, to my feeling, to what I don’t want to feel/see. How crazy the world is right now…everything.
Can you tell us a little something about you?
Im the calm before the storm…and the storm. lol
How would you describe your musical style?
Down beat pop. it’s a mix of genres so I always have a hard time trying to explain it. To me its just music. What makes music pop is popularity… I never strive for that, I just make what feels right no matter how “out there” it may be.

Billie Eilish, Arlo Parks, Mark Ronson
You just released the first single off your new EP “Fuel the Crazy” !! What has been your thought about the reaction to the single?
I’ve gotten really good feed back on it! I’m very excited about that! This track and record as a hole is a departure from my first EP, so I’m thrilled people are digging it.
Can you tell us how this song came about and the meaning of the song?
I was in a bad place, feeling stuck and wanting to escape. This melody came into my head and the song just sort of spilled out. Its about creating your own vibe, your own place to escape to. We all need that, the world is f****** crazy right now.
Your new EP is also coming out soon!! Can you spill any details about the new project?
Like I said its very different then what my last EP sounded like, and I’m super amped as to where my sound is going. What i can say…. its fireeee! lol
What do you hope your supporters will think of the new EP?
I hope they will feel truth in it, in some way. Ive learned to not really expect anything, I do this because it feels right. Because I have something to say that I feel people will relate to, not necessarily “like.”
Are there any other projects in the works you can tell us about?
I’m really into remixes right now…so expect lots of those!
Why do you think social media is so important for singers today?
Its important cause you can reach so many people…not just in you backyard but in the world. Its also a huge tool to create/mold change. Thats really important to me.
What social media platform do you use most to stay connected to your fans?
I use mostly Instagram stories. I like that it’s only there for a small time frame, you either see it, or you don’t.
How do you want your relationship to be with your fans?
I want it to be a truthful one, a non judgmental one. A space and kind community where you can be who/whatever you want. Where we can all trust each other and count on each other. I know that sounds like a fantasy but I believe we ALL want a space like that. Not only do I believe, I know we can make it real. I’m also super easy to talk to and try to respond to as many people as possible.
What’s an average day like for you?
It really depends, its summer now and I love to travel so I’m doing a lot of that. When I’m home I’m usually just chilling, writing and reading or watching a crazy show/TED talk. I get inspired by the crazies shit so, constantly feeding my brain is a full time job. Lol When I have something semi solid that I think could be something…I venture out into the studio.
