Taylor Swift is finally showing off her belly button!
On Friday, the 25-year-old entertainer posted a sunny beach pic on Instagram while vacationing in Maui with her famous pals.
Showing off her toned bod, a bikini-clad T. Swift posed with the sisters from HAIM aboard a boat with a gorgeous view of the Hawaii coast.
This comes months after she told Lucky magazine in November that she wasn’t a fan of showing off her belly button, because it provided an air of mystery.
“When you start showing your belly button then you’re really committing to the midriff thing,” she said. “I only partially commit to the midriff thing – you’re only seeing lower rib cage.”
Does this mean Taylor’s warming to the idea of more belly button-friendly outfits? If her past history with crop tops is any indication, don’t count on it.
“As far as anyone knows based on my public appearances, they haven’t seen evidence of a belly button,” she said last year. “It could be pierced… If I’m going to get some sort of massive tattoo, it’s going to be right next to my belly button because no one’s ever going to see that.”
We’ll consider this an exception.
