Country artist Donice Morace is back with an emotionally charged single, “Working On Me,” that pays homage to the classic country sound he knows and loves. The playful new tune, available now, highlights the early signs of love between a pair that come from different backgrounds but create a special relationship nonetheless. Emphasizing how some relationships feel too good to be true, “Working On Me” finds Donice in his vocal sweet spot with a melody that evokes early 2000s country. Like the theme of the song, Donice has never been one to stray away from putting in the work. Tapping into his Texas Country roots, “Working On Me” joins Donice’s collection of releases including “Goin’ Goin’” and “One Drink In.”

Coming off the release of his latest album, This Life I Love, that boasted hit singles like “Goin’ Goin’,” which premiered at number one on the CDX True Indie Chart and No.10 on Texas Radio, as well as “One Drink In,” which premiered at No.15 on Texas Radio and was the No.1 music video on The Country Network’s Top 20 Countdown. The album earned praise from the likes of major outlets like Taste of Country for “carving his own brand of country” and solidified his status as 2022’s Emerging Country Artist of the Year from the Texas Country Music Awards.

Donice began his journey in music at the age of six when his father bought him his first guitar. By the time he was a junior in high school he was singing in choir, and after seeing George Strait in concert while in college at Texas A&M, it became clear to him that music would be his life’s calling. After carving his spot in the Beaumont scene, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he sang five nights a week at Cowboys Dancehall. This opportunity allowed Donice to open for national acts such as Lonestar and Kenny Chesney, along with one of his heroes, Merle Haggard. Donice brought his tried, true, and real brand of country music back to Texas five years later, making boots scoot across dance halls across the state while opening for the likes of Kevin Fowler, Aaron Watson and Cody Johnson. Donice continued to grow his stock with the release of his debut self-titled EP in 2017, which featured the top 25 single, “Good Hurt Comin’ On,” and “WD-40 and Duct Tape,” which peaked at No.15 on the Texas Regional Radio Report. He doubled down with the release of his debut album ‘Long Live the Cowboy’ in 2019, unashamedly putting the cowboy back in country music.

With more new releases in the works, Donice continues to catch the attention of listeners everywhere through his charismatic, honky tonk authenticity.
