How excited are you that your debut single is finally out into the world?

Really excited, although the build up to release the song was driving me crazy, we had the song ready in
February, but we had to wait a few months for what we thought would be the right time.

Where did the inspiration for the song come from?

One of the melodies in the song, was something I was playing around with back in August’19, and when we got
into the studio with C Ray I sang the idea to him and we built around it.

Any fun moments while creating/recording the song?

Working with C Ray and working in his studio is always fun and really comfortable. The structure of the song
actually came together in the first session which was amazing as I had just arrived from Singapore after a 18
hour flight and a time difference of 12 hours. That first session was amazing.

What do you hope your supporters will think of the new song

Generally I want to attract supporters not just with this song but with new songs that I hope to have produced
in the future and I have supporters that then follow my journey and enjoy it with me.

What’s the process of writing one of your songs?

I write my songs off on real emotions and how they make me feel. Like, I would either write about situations
that never happened to me and blend that with something that has happened to me. So I use this same
process with ‘ Tell Me’. I also like to come up with the chorus first then work around that, I wrote the chorus for
‘ Tell Me’ 2 months’ before starting production or even starting the song with my producer, C-ray.

Where did your love of music come from?

It is difficult to say but I do think that my writing of songs became natural to me from the age of 11. I see each
song as a new project but normally they have similar themes about the complexities of relationships.

Any other fun projects in the works you can tell us about?

We are nearing completion of my next song which is called “Never Going Back”, we aim to release the song
early August,’20. This has turned out to be a lot different than originally planned because I am in Malaysia and
C Ray is in LA, so we have had to work on how we can record my vocals remotely and we think we have found
the solution, fingers crossed

Why do you think social media is so important for artists like yourself?

I think social media platforms are important for artists like myself, as we can reach out to a broader audience
but audiences of like-minded people which I think is the important part. This is about building a true fan base if
possible.

Do you have any last things you want to tell your supporters?

“Tell Me” is my first professionally recorded song and I hope people will like what they hear and if they did,
“Thank you for listening and hope you like my next song too”
Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions 🙂
My pleasure, anytime
