W- to be honest, Kesha, Adele , Victorious from Nickelodeon , and other singing shows like American Idol and X factor. I would be home performing for family, or make music videos on the first iPod touch with the bad cameras .
Where did your love of music come from?
W- Well I don’t know honestly , cause I always loved it, but I really started to love music when I first started performing for people and getting that energy from the audience and also songwriting putting my own feeling into a song that I created then sharing it with my fans, that’s the best feeling ever.
How did you get started with Social Media?
W- Friends , at first it was used to connect with my friends when I left my hometown at 10 years old to go on tour , but then it changed to fans from tour!
Why do you think social media is so important for teen artists like yourself?
W- Social media is SUPER important , its a great way of communicating with my fans. Telling them about my new music, and chatting with them. It’s like virtual meet and greets.
You just celebrated your 17th Birthday!!! Happy Belated Birthday!! Can you tell us about your birthday event?
W- Yesssss, omg. My event was so much fun for me. I went with a witchy theme, so there was cool crystals and candles and incense and stuff everywhereeee. A few friends and I performed for everyone and it was just super fun with all the sponsors and psychic reader reading our palms and tarot cards.
What was it like having so many people come celebrate your birthday with you?
W- It was amazing, knowing that I have so many people who support me with my career . It was a super fun time!
What was your favorite moment during the party?
W- Definitely when I performed my new original song “just let it end” it was so amazing performing that for all my friends .
Is there anyone you want to thank that’s helped you get to where you are today?
W- sure my parents , family and friends, my amazing PR Anita Na’a with Nesian PR, my amazing agent Cindy Schoonover, my amazing vocal coach Kyle Martin and of course all my fans .
What do you think makes your fan community/fandom different from others?
W- I love my fans , they are super committed to me, definitely the best fans ever, they always support me , even through my Wiccan and veganism , they are literally amazing .
How would you describe your fans? – what’s three words you would use to describe your fans?
W -Dedicated , compassionate, and supporting
What do you want your message to be towards your fans? What do you want your fans to take away from your music and shows?
W- I want them to know that you can be anyone you want to be. Any gender, sexuality, race, religion , beliefs, career choices etc. Be who you want to be. I’m a Vegan , Wiccan , Actor, Singer, Songwriter and I’m not afraid to tell the world !
Do you have any preshow rituals that help you get pumped up to meet your supporters?
W- Well in my region Wicca , not only do we pray to god we pray to God And Goddess, so before every performance. I pray and thank them for giving me this chance to perform and everything . Then I wish me a great performance and a great time, then we end it with ‘Bless it be”. I do that before every performance, every meal I eat, and every night I got to bed.
Are you planning any shows to promote your new music?
W- Yes I’m performing at a lot of venues in the future , on my instagram @theofficialwillb , you can see all about my performances! Ill also be performing at “LA County Fair” on Sept 5. 7:30-8:00 !!
What is it like performing in front of your fans? Are you excited to start performing your own music live!?!
W- Its literally amazing, I love it more then anything on earth, Yess I’m so excited to travel the world and perform everywhere!
What do you want your supporters to know that you think is important?
W- BE YOU! Like I said before, always be you, cause you can be whoever you wanna be!
What’s something your fans don’t know about you?
W- A lot of my fans Don’t know is that im a huge horror fan, I love horror movies, tv shows, songs, and activities like mazes and stuff. I LOVE being scared !
What’s one word you would use to describe what your fans have allowed you to accomplish?
W- Myself . My fans has always been there when I went through so many changes finding me , and I love them for that.
With an already massive fanbase your fans must they have a name for themselves. What do your fans call themselves? And How did that fanbase name catch on?
W- Well when I was younger they’d call them self BEEs for Will B, but now I don’t know tbh, I know a lot of my fans change their name by adding B to the end of their first name.
Many of your supporters are starstruck when they meet you Have you ever been starstruck?
W- Oh my gawd yes. When I met Ariana Grande , I was like crying. She glows. She literally is a goddess.
What do you want your fans to know if they ever see you in public?
W- COME UP TO ME! I love when fans come up to me. So many times I catch people talking about me or filming me but never come up. So I go up to them, cause I don’t want y’all to miss your chance and talk about it later. “Man I wish I would’ve said hi or asked for a pic or something” cause that’s happened to me before and it suckss. So come up to me or I will come up to you!
Is there anyone in the music business you are dying to meet?
W- Dua lipa, She’s literally my favorite singer , songwriter, and performer . I also really love Lizzo and Kesha.
What would you say is your biggest dream/goal right now?
W- To tour the world , performing in different countries , sounds like the best thing ever!
